Hi,
just PM'd you with details.
It does show as "Outbox" (not "Sent"), I don't know if that means you've read it or not.

I have checked previous questions/answers on this forum.

Optus cable, then to NBN?
Hi, I have searched the forum, with no success; I am currently with Exetel ADSL2, if I order a cable connection from Optus (leaving my ADSL connected & untouched), will that enable Exetel to take over that connection for my NBN when it arrives? My local exchange is; Port Melbourne – 175-183 Clark St...

Thanks,
I didn't realise that the "missed call" service took the place of voicemail... my bad!
Thanks for your quick response!

Voice to SMS service alter/cancel/change?
On my Exetel mobile service, a missed call gets picked up and converted to text then sent to my mobile as an SMS. A great idea in theory, if only it converted correctly! How do I switch this off and go to a standard voicemail system? (you know... message.. then I phone to messagebank to pick it up) ...

Thanks,
I'm assuming that you mean I need to NOT nat my ports?
I will say however, that it DOES seem to be working using that port!

Paul

I just added a second SPA3000 and need some advice please
Hi all, I added a second Sipura/Linksys SPA3000 to my network. My first 3000 has worked well for many years. I have ordered and received the new DID from Exetel. I have set up the second 3000 to have all the same settings except for the phone number and password and a different fixed IP (of course)....

Just to make sure that I have expressed myself clearly
OK Thanks.
Just to make sure that I have expressed myself clearly;
It didn't have to be a 1300 number. Perhaps a different number in each of your POP's redirected to a single number?
Thanks,
Paul

1300 so I can offer a local call (doesn't have to be 1300!)
Hi,
Can Exetel offer a service like a 1300 number?
It can be any voip number as long as I can offer it as a "local call" (and be billed the difference in cost of course!)
Perhaps just the areas you have POP's?
Thanks,
Paul

Re: ADSL2+ ANNEX M
Hi Jason,
I too would be keen to see Annex M introduced to Exetel, I realise (some of) the difficulties, but to have an increased upload speed would be great for those of us who host!

Re: multiple ATA's possible?
AHH, quick question; CAN you turn off DID response in the Sipura / Linksys SPA3000? Because if that is possible, I COULD use the second ATA to respond and answer the incoming VOIP call, and the first ATA will just ignore the incoming call? (saving having to register a second VOIP account). Thanks, P...
