A friend of mine who is an Exetel customer received an email today purporting to be from Exetel advisng her that Exetel has been notified that she had breached copyright by downloading from a torrent site. It informed her that the orga...

Re: Forward email
Thanks CoreyPlover. I was just trying to have all email that arrived on my original computer forwarded so I could read them on my new laptop. I have set up the same thing on my mate's network (He's with BigPond). If I can't do it I'm not going to slit my wrists or God Forbid churn to BOG Pond. I can...

Re: Forward email
Can forward - no problem but you don't have a copy on the computer from which it is forwarded. It is only on the computer that you forward it to. I tried it and that was the result I got. If you know how to do it so I have a copy on both computers (as you can on Big Pond) I'd be pleased to learn how.

Re: Forward email
Found the answer by trial and error. The answer is NO. It's one thing that Big Pond does better than Exetel.

Forward email
I know this has probably been covered somewhere else but I'm afraid I can't find it. The question is : if I set my mail to be forwarded to an address (an exetel one) on my laptop does a copy remain on my home computer?

Re: Speedtouch 530
Usual story. Trying to help someone. I'll just tell him he has to buy a new modem. He's joined Exetel and is using a modem I loaned him because we couldn't get his Speedtouch to work.
Thanks for confirming what I thought.

Norton stops upgrade of Usage Meter
I have the Mini Exetel usage meter installed. Every time I boot my computer, I get the message that there is an upgrade available. I follow the bouncing ball and all goes well until right at the end when the installation is shut down and I get a message from Norton which says that SONAR has detected...

Re: Pensioner Broadband Plans?
I read all the previous posts and most of them make sense. I am an age pensioner and an Exetel customer for some four or so years. I also live in an area which has a large pensioner population. I have introduced about 16 of them to Exetel and all are generally satisfied with the plans, although a 51...

Re: Possible Change To Off Peak Period
For me either is good but I don't download large packages. Easy for me to go with the flow.
