Re: Corrupted? email account password

Hi, I reset the password on the Exetel email account site. This gave me direct access to the affected account.
When I looked at the list of saved passwords, the affected account was not listed at all??
So I don't know how the Thunderbird account was altered, possibly I have been hacked.

I have several email accounts and today I was unable] to log in either by Thunderbird or directly to the email server to only one of those accounts. It is what I call my top account, not the service account, but the one that seems to only get spam, hence it has a spam filter attached. I re establish...

Re: Constant dropouts over the last couple of weeks

I have had the same problem for several weeks, since NBN came to the area (post code 2099). I've had two visits from techs, Optus? and Telstra. Both claimed a faulty connection in the street pit(s). Solved the problem for a few days then noisy, dropped packets and complete loss of service. Laterly I...

Re: Frequent drop-outs - renting a unit - concerned about call-out fees

Hi Again, I omitted to mention that I was on the phone (1300788141) for about 1.5 hours before I was given a "ticket", 90% of that time on hold. The tech arrived early the next day and was gone within 30mins. For the next few days I received multiple SMS to tell me the fault callout was booked. I ev...

Re: Frequent drop-outs - renting a unit - concerned about call-out fees

dkoper, The only other solution is to go wireless. A year or so you should have access to 5G which, depending on load, will be as good as your NBN FTC which probably won't arrive until next year and you will be plagued with the same connection issues. I've had very poor service the last two weeks, v...

Re: NBN Power

Hi, Re: NBN service being down due to a power outage. It seems the fibre side is well provisioned with battery back up in the exchange and at nodes. My question is relating to the provision of Fibre to the C(K)urb service to my premises. Will I have the option to have a battery back up or UPS attac...

Use of PSTN equipment on ZTE modem

Hi, Can I use my existing PSTN phone and answering machine on the/with the ZTE ZXHN H268A modem as supplied with the now lowest NBN plan. By the way has Exetel explained why they have dropped the previous lower cost Basic plan? Is it "price gouging" or are they passing on fees from their service sup...

Hi Exetel Webmasters,
I think the new front page looks very nice. Still haven't attached labels to the log off drop down.

Re: Personal Web Space usage meter

Hi Steve Bow, Place this little php routine on your index page. If you want to see how it works go to http://home.exetel.com.au/pushbike/ and to the link Space at the bottom of the page. <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transition...

The drop down box associated with users name and log out button is not being displayed. Top right of forum page below Search box. That is I cannot see which button is for sign out. This was a problem some time ago has it been fixed previously and reappeared?
