Re: New Bundled ADSL/Wire Line/Mobile Plans
About the new (June 2015) plans available to users in the member facilities, the two lower plans are peak/off-peak. Is there a definition somewhere of what the peak and off-peak periods are with these plans?

Re: This is a Good usage meter works well with Exetel
Had a problem with the Experimental Chrome Version ( http://netusage.iau5.com/ ) in the past month or two - "A parsing error occurred (S2)" I followed advice from other users at the Chrome Web Store, to simply retype my info into the Preferences/options page and then update usage. It worked and all ...

Re: This is a Good usage meter works well with Exetel
Firefox users can't go past Net Usage Item . I am watching three accounts at the top of my browser, at a glance I know exactly what has been used and if I hover the mouse pointer over them I get all the details. I can report that the "Experimental Chrome Version" from that site mostly works in Goog...

I'd just like to say that I'm in heaven on the 100GB plan (not literally). Thanks for finally coming to the party

Re: Exetels opposition to the NBN
I'm personally opposed to the slow, slow rollout pace. FWIW (there has been quite a radical change to the NBN - BTW, I sympathise with those in the HFC cable footprint!), how long do you think it would take to replace the line to the 93(?)% of homes and businesses in Australia? Because that is what...

Re: Does this site work for others?
The site mentioned is giving me a 403 as well. @tin and an Sealgair Can you please check whether following links are working or not? as this could be a website directory access issue. http://www.radioskipper.com/index.html http://www.radioskipper.com/listen.html Oops, sorry I didn't check back on t...

Re: Trouble with TP-LINK TD-8817 modem ISP settings
The password I was sent worked and with PPPoE LLC. It's something that came back to me with the old modem: typing things in manually doesn't change or prove anything. Nothing takes effect at all until you click on 'Save All'. It had the correct password saved before and was using that. This time I h...

Trouble with TP-LINK TD-8817 modem ISP settings
I am setting up a new modem, the TP-LINK TD-8817, to take over from my old one, Thomson SpeedTouch 530, which could not give me ADSL2+. The TP-LINK is achieving line sync (although with 4 dB more downstream attenuation than the old modem), which I can verify by logging on at 192.168.1.1 and the web ...

Re: Migration Of ADSL1 Customers To Optus ADSL2
It is becoming apparent, irrespective of whether there is a CEO change at Telstra in the near future or not, that we probably have very little time to move away from using Telstra as a major supplier. To mitigate the effects of what we perceive to be Telstra's likely actions over the coming months ...
