Re: Three Months Free ADSL

HI there, I signed up for this plan - or the 6 months free. Not sure which months they are, but I was pretty sure I read that it was 1,2,3 and 10,11,12. Anyway, my credit card was just invoiced for the first full month. It was also invoiced for the pro-rated first part month. Who do I speak to? Sam...

Re: Three Months Free ADSL

So just to confirm, for those 15 working days (is this still the case?) it supposed to take to transfer from AAPT to Optus, ADSL connection will not be interrupted at all. On the day when the telephone line is switched to Optus, there will be no need to even restart the modem, and the phone line wi...

Re: $20.00 A Month For Full Service (Real) Telephone Line Re

I'm currently on NF/23BYOLINE.

Will there be anymore Powertel/AAPT plans?
or will transferring to Telstra or Optus be our only options?

Port number to existing sim

Hi,

I'm wondering if its possible to sign up to the WMA plan and test it for a few months before porting my number over.

Also, is the security deposit really required for existing ADSL customers?

Cheers.

Re: Possible Change To Off Peak Period

What about fairplay? Exetel had that system in place a while back, where people chose to put themselves in a dedicated pool for low pings while sacraficing downloads (low ping pool was limited to 350mb). This was so that people who game or use VoIP during that time can still use it without high pin...

Re: Dialup speeds since saturday

I don't have any QOS running, on the router or PC. No netlimiter or any apps like that either.
Its the same on the PC and laptop and other computers around the house.

Restarting the modem doesn't help.

Re: Dialup speeds since saturday

I can't get a result out of it. I've tri...

Re: Dialup speeds since saturday

I think the exetel speed test uses a 3mb file. It basically never finishes, just like the ozspeedtest using a 3mb file, which stops about half way. edit: scratch that, I retired it a few times just then and I seem to have gotten a result this time. ---------------------------------------------------...

Re: Dialup speeds since saturday

Come to think about it, have I been shaped by accident on exetels end?

I'm still under my quota this month for both peak and offpeak.
