Hi,
I'm interested in that info as well - is it possible to post a few clues here or email me the info as well?
regards,
Kevin

I was just backing up the other people who had posted and supplying the ping / tracert that support had asked for.Dazzled wrote:-kevin, it's as I showed in the posts above -
Only trying to help, I wasn't saying it was anything different to your posts.

Re: nearmap.com down for anyone else?
Would you be able to do a continues ping and trace to http://www.nearmap.com and send the results to residentialsupport@exetel.com.au . Once you receive the ticket number please update in this thread so we will investigate further. :) pings answer fine, 23ms to 180.233.128.7 The site reponses with ...

Re: nearmap.com down for anyone else?
nearmp.com is down for me on my exetel connection
Also down on two other exetel connections that I have tested it from.
However it works fine from at least two non exetel connections that I just tried.
Seems like they are blocking a range of addresses. Be interesting how that came about!

Re: Customer Referral Scheme
It's only a very small thing but some people might have their boss paying their internet bill as part of a work agreement. (Or they can claim internet as a tax deduction) Therefore something they get (rather than their boss or the ATO) like a gift card might be more of an incentive. But then exetel ...

Re: Routing - via Optus faulty
Cheers Steve,
That would be great (always happens on a Sunday when people at Exetel are trying to having a weekend too ..!)
I've re-opened ticket 3885819 which has lots of info including trace routes etc.
Appreciate your help,
Kevin

Re: Formatted e-mails from Exetel
The latest plan text email didn't come out all that easy to read in Outlook.
Picture tells the story but looks like some of the TABs went missing messing up the alignment.

Re: Routing to 122.252.xx.xx subnets
Hi,
The problem seems to be fixed.
I'm now getting a different tracert to the servers I host.
Can get to eatlocal.com.au but then the DNS doesn't resolve for that.
I can get to the other sites, plus access my servers again, on port 80 and RDP.
What are others seeing?
Regards,
Kevin

Re: Routing to 122.252.xx.xx subnets
Thanks - seems like it is OK from QLD but not NSW.
If someone in QLD could post a tracert to one of those sites, that would be great.
Regards,
Kevin

Routing to 122.252.xx.xx subnets
Hello, I'm hoping someone can help. I host some servers in Sydney, one is on IP address 122.252.7.123, another 122.252.7.156, a third on 122.252.12.19 I cannot access any of these servers on ports such as 80, 3000, 3389. I (and some other exetel customers I know) cannot see websites hosted on these ...

Re: ADSL2+ on Telstra Exchanges
Hi, I have a friend who currently has ADSL2+ with bigpond. Can they change to Exetel ADSL2+ (via telstra)? Do you know if that could be a churn, or does it have to be a new connection? If it's a new connection I'm guessing that means Bigpond needs to be cancelled first? I guess I'm asking if Bigpond...

Re: Plan Change Fee/New 'Ancillary Service Pricing
Dear ForumAdmin, Many thanks! Just for your info, I was on an older ADSL2 plan that had 100 free (local) VoIP calls included and in either Oct or Nov I started getting charged for them. So I have been paying for free local calls for 3 months now. It was only $4-$5 a month (I'm not interested in refu...

Re: exetel staff, please provide usage data/plan XML
Hi Raymond, If you have time to allow the XML usage page access to HSPA and also business grade connections that would be great. I keep an eye on the data usage of several of those plans and would really appreciate if I could do the XML option like I can with residential plans. It has been very usef...
