I will say this is a hardware or firmware related issues. I had a similar thing happened on a CISCO VG224 (not with exetel service), the vg224 stop providing dail tone after 24 hours, I replaced the cisco 224 with another brand new one with the same IOS (firmware) same thing happened after 24 hours ...

I had the same problem before with Netcomm V100 and Netcomm NB1300plus4.

The solution is to update the fireware of the NB1300plus4 and the problem gone.

You may try updating the fireware for the NetGear modem

there is a card made by yeastar for asterisk.

it is arround $400 with 8 port, you can chose from

8 fxo
8 fxs
4 fxo, 4fxs
6fxo , 2 fxs (with failover)

i am using that and this is very good price and quality compare to Digium cards.

Send email to Exetel, they should able to localize your account.

Once your account is set to NSW, you dont need to dial area code.

I found that it was working correctly. because you are billied 2 call legs.

system split your call charge into two half, one for the land line and one for the destination.

our developer is working on this to see if we can fix in another way.
