Re: Regent Honeyeater Updates

I note the recent Exetel May 2009 news letter has a short commentary on land management practices in the area: One sad aspect of the day was to see, first hand and at close range, what dreadful things have been done to the Australian bush by inept and ignorant farming and 'wood harvesting' over the ...

Re: ftp 910 error on file upload

Well, funny enough, the software developer emailed me to say that LWC uses OS X curl to do the ftp work, one file, one connection. :o

I'll try another site and see what happens there!

Re: ftp 910 error on file upload

Thanks Andrew.

I'll check with the coder re the ftp details. You would think that one connection and file transfer would make sense rather than one connection per file?

Re: ftp 910 error on file upload

Woops,
That would be three connections, not per minute. The software loads up about thirty files or so every fifteen min.
It has a test function that uploads a single test.html file. This works no probs.

ftp 910 error on file upload

G'day all, I have a weather program (Lightsoft weather centre) that interfaces my weather station to my Mac. Part of the package has a ftp upload facility that will upload a weather observation page to a webserver. When running, the ftp upload gets only part way through before the upstream connectio...

Siemens C470 IP Voip phone

G'day all,

Wondering if anyone else has a 470 out there? Mine works well. Still working out how to get caller ID to display when I call out. Once that works I'll post up my settings for others if needed.

Very happy with the purchase.

Try this thread for another reason why incoming calls might not work http://forum.exetel.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=58&t=28467

Re: VOIP incomming calls do not work (another one)

Thanks for that info jok11n! I wonder if that could be added to the FAQ? I would have not made the number known at all if forewarned! Even a cautionary note on the number selector box on Exetels VOIP page would be useful. I spent the better half of a day reading the VOIP help forums, and rebooting a...

VOIP incomming calls do not work (another one)

G'day all, Posted elsewhere about my incoming calls being met with a recorded message stating the number is disconnected. I emailed voip@exetel.com.au detailing the problem. This is the answer I got: On 27/08/2008, at 10:54 , voip@exetel.com.au wrote: Dear Sir, I began to understand your situation. ...

I'm in the same boat here, new DID, same message. I've logged a fault ticket, will report back when the issue is resolved.

Did this get resolved? I have the same fault. The only symptom I have is no dial tone, and incoming calls do not cause the phone to ring. Switching the unit off then on again fixes it.

Cheers
