Re: ADSL Relocation - disappeared from member facilities???

I find this highly unusual as any relocation (which is infact a new order) we provide emails, SMS and auto calls for when we receive estimate completion dates and activation dates. Thanks for your reply Paul, but just confirming I have received no notifications of any of those types regarding the n...

Re: Whinge re: Exetel's transfer/application form

Paul was able to assist me as per his above message.

But today I encountered another issue which I believe could do with improvement in Exetel's systems - http://forum.exetel.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=219&t=29943

Re: ADSL Relocation - disappeared from member facilities???

Unknown to me, and not advised or indicated in any way, is that there is a 'public' page that you can check the status of any new application (which an ADSL2 transfer is): http://www.exetel.com.au/application_status.php It tells me the status of my new connection and even advises that I am able to l...

ADSL Relocation - disappeared from member facilities???

I have requested an ADSL relocation to another address, which after problems seemed to have gone through (it was showing in user facilities with an estimated date of 8th Dec). But now I look in "Moved Service Status" and see that my request has disappeared and it just shows "You do not have relocati...

Re: Whinge re: Exetel's transfer/application form

I finally have my Telstra account number but when I try to go and do the "Move ADSL to new address" again I get a page with the following text at the bottom but nothing to click on. Is it because I have already filled in the disconnect page that I can't use this option and should I just fill in a br...

Whinge re: Exetel's transfer/application form

Filling out the application form for transferring my ADSL2 to a new location, when I get to the field asking for the account number of my current Telstra account it does not indicate it is a required field and not knowing my account number as the line has just been connected I leave the field blank....

Telstra call centre experience

It's probably normal, but thought I might relate my experiences in trying to contact Telstra over the last couple of days, through their 132200 number. The issue is that a connection was supposed to be done last Friday, but the number on the line is different to what they told me and I have no way o...

My flatmate is currently having panic attacks due to my ADSL2 service not being able to connect.

As said by someone else, the internet is usable, just painfully slow. Even viewing a website with photos o...

Does anyone know if he did churn, and post the comments on Whirlpool? I'd love to see. I bet he gets a roasting LOL Not that you get to see the roasting of such complainants as the moderators there remove messages freely. One thread I was reading the other day (I was bored at work :P) had the usual...

Re: Exetel and loads of spam (as per usual)

I have tried the paid spam filter to no avail so I got rid of it. You must not have set it up properly as it has reduced my spam to zero. I have currently switched to Gmail and have no spam whatsoever coming through Gmail's spam filter is excellent so if this works for you then my suggestion is to ...

Re: Amex Acceptance

I pay $395 a year for my Amex It's not my fault (or that of other Exetel users) that you pay that much for a simple credit card (or charge card - whichever you have). All the more absurd that AMEX charges merchants higher merchant fees than Visa/MC when they make a fortune from people like you payi...

Re: Amex Acceptance

I definitely want to pay by Amex - I was not going to renew because I am sick of merchants being greedy and telling me how I should pay so that its better for them. If you care to read the other comments in this thread it is not merchants being greedy, it is AMEX being greedy by charging merchants ...

I voted no,i dont have one, although i pay by debit card,i dont agree with the $1.00 charge for this because its the same as a direct debit which Exetel charge no fee for????.. You don't approve of the credit card charge? Speak to your bank then. The credit card fees are charged by the banks, not Ex...
