Re: New Telephone Line Provisioning - Optus Service

As I understand, this is to provision a NEW Optus phone line/number regardless of whether the phone line is active or not at the new address. The applicant will lose the existing phone number as a result. How about new applicants moving house and wanting to port the existing phone to the new address?

Hi, I received an email from Exetel promoting to migrate from ADSL1 to ADSL2 (INC PHONE) without activation fee. I am very interested in switching to ADSL2+. However, I had 2 failed attempts (to migrate to ADSL2+) in the Past. My phone number is 02 9680 xxxx, and is on the Castle Hill exchange- but ...

Exetel telephone (VOIP) numbers on e164 lookup

Hi Exetel,

Would you consider
- register Exetel (VOIP) telephone numbers on e.164 and
- provide Exetel SIP/URI addresses on the web pages

so that any VOIP users with the e.164 lookup and/or calling via SIP/URI capability, can contact you via the net rather than as a PSTN call.

Old Mobile Plan shown when ordering Mobile Services

Old mobile plans were shown when ordering mobile services (from the EXETEL Members Facilities page)

It showed Plan A,B, C instead of Plan 1,2,3 and 4 (whereas Plan 1 is with $0.00 minimum monthly charge).

I want to order Plan 1 - not Plan A.
