discounts on new optus plans

my thought is this. currently i'm on an ocv200 plan so i dont qualify for the new discounts but if i cancel my existing service and sign up for an of100 plan i get the discount.(minus $100 early termination). i'm ahead $140. why not offer existing customers 3 months discount to move to the new plans...

discontinued plan

i've sent emails to res support but thought it couldnt hurt to post here as well. my current rx2t plan is discontinued at the end of the month so i thought i'd change to naked adsl as i'm going to use a voip service for phone calls but there are no options for me to do that. it seems i must transfer...

leechers pool

it would seem that i have been left in the leechers pool overnight at the first of the month. my speeds went from sub 256k before midday to adsl2 speeds after midday. could someone confirm this please and if so advise as to why?
