Re: forbidden

Thanks for doing that Kavinda. I tried again and it works now, so it was probably affected by my experimentation with Linphone. I was able to make a call, though the recipient complained that the call was choppy and hard to understand. Are there any particular settings I should use for it to make th...

Re: forbidden

My problem with Linphone may have been that I was trying lots of different clients together; I can make calls with it now. Still can't get Zoiper to make calls, out, though.

Re: forbidden

Thanks for the reply. I'm really not having much luck with VOIP apps - I can't get past a "Registration failed" error with Linphone, though I'm sure I'm using the right settings. Also tried Zoiper after reading another thread in these forums, which seems to register OK, but I can't seem to make call...

Re: forbidden

I get the same problem; I used to be able to use CSIPSimple on my Nexus 5, though the call quality was choppy, so I stopped using it for a long while. Now (and a few Android versions later - now on Marshmallow) I get the same error as the OP does. I have done the same settings as the screenshots abo...

Re: New website glitches

I can't get any details about my usage or invoices through the new or old site. When I login to the new site, the usage graph just displays a spinner that never stops, and all the lists below it show "No data". I can't see any invoices in the invoice tab. When I navigate to the old website, login, a...

Re: Lost one exemail email address?

Yikes, I didn't know that. That must be a fairly recent introduction, as I'm sure I let this particular address sit idle for around a year previously. So by "you will need to access it at least once every few months to keep it active", do you mean accessing it via the webmail interface? Thanks very ...

Lost one exemail email address?

Hi, I had set up two exemail email addresses years ago. One of them was used exclusively as the contact address listed against my domain. As such, I only accessed it once a year or longer. I've only just now noticed that this email address is no longer listed against my account in the Exetel Members...

Re: Mobile Plan Questions

Corey has given his answers to my questions above - but can an Exetel employee please confirm what he has said?

Re: Mobile Plan Questions

Thanks Corey. 2. If I get a new prepaid mobile, locked to Optus for 6 months, will I be able to go onto Z8, port my existing postpaid Optus number over, and use the Exetel plan straight away? I'm afraid I don't understand this query What I mean is, Optus has some seemingly good deals on prepaid mobi...

Re: Mobile Plan Questions

I have some questions about the Z plans too. 1. Do these monthly rates (eg, $8 for the Z8 plan) remain beyond the 12 month contract period? Or do they revert to the plan that each Z plan is compared to in the services page "Plan Saving Against CAP Plan" column? (ie, does Z8 turn into a $19 pm plan a...

Re: Revised/New ADSL1 Plans

I'm on TELH, and have VoIP through Exetel as well.

I'd like to move to TL-BA, to gain the $10 VoIP credit. Do I have to indicate that my current VoIP number is to be credited? Or is it all automatic when I change plans, as it's all under the same account?

Re: Revisions To ADSL1 Plans

I understand that the current plans do not have the $3 admin charge that the older plans are subject to, but do the current plans have a credit card surcharge?
