Re: IP Costs To Customers Will Increase

Gosh a /29 block is a pricey purchase now in comparison, not much can be done about that though. Mine was just renewed so i have a fair while before it needs to be paid and by that stage I probably won't need it any more. Any chance we can can have be ability to manage IP add-ons in our member facil...

Re: Please Use This Thread To Advise Exetel Of Typos/Errors

When ordering a fax 2 email DID for a customer yesterday i noticed it says under "terms & conditions", "VOIP Terms And Conditions" and then goes on to display the actual VOIP T&C this should be updated to display the FAX service T&C's

Cheers

Re: ADSL2+ on Telstra Exchanges

Looks like after I got the Exetel email saying it had failed, Telstra found a way to go ahead and do it anyway.... Thats what it looks like :) Also if you ordered an ADSL2 plan and it was to fail provisioning you wouldn't be put onto an ADSL1 plan automatically, as you said they are different prici...

Re: ADSL2+ on Telstra Exchanges

So, now I'll wait until Sept 1st to see what plan I'm on, and then maybe I'll know what's happened... You connection has been updated to a adsl2 profile. You are sinking higher than 384Kbs for the upload part so you are on ADSL2. As telstra cap all adsl1 8mbit connections to 384. You modem is ADSL1...

Is this a normal speed or should I be looking at getting faster..?
No that looks normal, with a line attenuation of 49db that is probably the fastest you will achieve.

Re: ADSL2+ on Telstra Exchanges

Changing from ADSL1 to ADSL2 will only require me to turn my router off for a while when the time comes? No re-configuring or anything else? Provided your modem is set to auto negotiate the dsl connection (which most are by default) then that would be correct. Your username etc will remain the same.
