Re: Please Use This Thread To Advise Exetel Of Typos/Errors

I have noticed that new plans (OT**) for Optus ADLS2+ were released on 1/09/10 but they are not yet available in member facilities.

When will those be accessible from member facilities?

It is not fixed by clearing the cache but Shady has just fixed the link. Thanks Shady.

The only catch is the usage meter still showing zero.

Re: New Members Facilties Is Up

Login thru the old login page "https://www.exetel.com.au/login/" or Exetel home page will disable the side bar.

But on the member facilities page, click on the "ADSL Member Facilities" side button will open up a new login page.

Re: New Members Facilties Is Up

Did someone check it before release for use?
Does not show the side bar on both IE8 and Firefox, no ADSL usage (all zeroes).

Re: ADSL2 Plan Changes

It is a real pita to offer that sort of flexibility (not to mention disputatious customer problems). So, no, the plans are "shaped" with the option for any user to "unshape" them - once. That satisfies most users requirements. Why were we able to do so a while back but not now? Have this decision b...

Re: ADSL2 Plan Changes

I have just applied a plan change this month after I was asked to change plan or stay to accept a $5 increase on my old plan - I am thinking to withdraw my pending request and change to a lower plan if excess charge can be made. From where I can choose the option to use excess charge - will the opti...

Great offer!

How do I get that free VoIP?
Do I need to order it from members facilities?
Will I also get a DID?

Thanks.

Re: Migration Of ADSL1 Customers To Optus ADSL2

Not really, you may get a little higher upload speed with an ADSL2 modem. Your line attenuation looks about right for 4-5 km from the exchange. Yes, you should get at least 1500kbps connection. You should probably lodge a fault ticket and ask to a stability profile apply to your connection. That sh...

Re: Migration Of ADSL1 Customers To Optus ADSL2

Requested on 2 March and done on 16 March (but it wasn't 3-5 working days as suggested). I was testing the connection speed and did notice increase in speed but inconsistent and not as smooth as ADSL1 1500 connection I had before. To get speed above 1500kb, I have to reboot modem several times (belo...

Re: Migration Of ADSL1 Customers To Optus ADSL2

Can I specify when the cutover to happen? I don't see anywhere I can do so.

What is the lead time for the transfer?

Thanks.
