Pro rata refund when cancelling ExeSaver Mobile
Dear Exetel, I have been emailing billing for five days with no response. I need to move to Telstra immediately as I require their coverage. I have already paid for the full month of August though, on the Exesim Saver plan. If I cancel my service early, do I receive a pro rata refund for the unused ...

Re: Pro-rata when porting mobile away from exetel?
Did you manage to resolve this issue? I have been emailing Exetel for a week but had no luck with any replies.
I have already paid for the full month of August but I need Telstra coverage now, so would like to cancel my service and get a refund for the remainder of August.

Re: often get slow speeds on the 28th of month
Awesome, thanks steve that must have been what the clicking was, it is now super fast again.
So in future, on the 28th I (and perhaps the OP) should just restart the modem and de-shape myself.
Easy

Re: often get slow speeds on the 28th of month
Yes it happens to me too, and the 28th is my first day of the new billing cycle. I usually exceed my quota and have opted to be shaped until my quota is reset, but if anything it feels like my downloads go slower when the billing cycle restarts. As shown I get around 700kbps, and only a couple of km...

Desktop Usage meter for Mobile Plans
Hi all,
Just wondering if there is a desktop usage meter for mobile plans, instead of having to sign in and view detailed usage to work out your data allowance and remaining call credit available? I'm on the M8 plan.
Thanks!

OT-5 Plan, Shaping and Download Limits
Hi Exetel,
I have selected shaping on my exetel OT-5 plan.
Is there any download limit once you are shaped, or a point at which you begin to be charged for any downloads?
Thanks!

Re: Usage meter too high
Dear EromalR, I'm sorry but I signed up to a plan with peak and off peak being 12-2400. Can you really adjust my peak and off peak period without my consent? This sounds like a breach of contract. Please revert my settings back to the appropriate times that I signed up for: Peak Period : 12:00 to 24...

Re: Usage meter too high
Thank you for that. I can't solve this, I had the macbook on for 10 minutes this morning and opened SMH, ebay and facebook and it used 10MB - that definitely doesn't seem right. If I was to upgrade my plan to allow for 10GB peak and 10GB off peak, would my peak and off peak times stay the same as th...

Re: Usage meter too high
Is the off peak and peak time indicated correct in my members area?
It says peak is 12.00 to 24.00, but when I view the plan in the residential area of the website it says peak is 9am to 1am?

Re: Usage meter too high
Hi Dazzled, Thanks for the reply and the tip. I only installed Windows 7 a couple of weeks ago, and we've got AVG installed and have never had Malware before (pretty careful), but I'm totally baffled by this. The only difference to the past when our usage practices were the same, and usage meter see...

Re: Usage meter too high
Hi, Thanks for the quick reply. It's very strange, I have now added MAC address specific wireless filters to be 100% sure that no one else has access. I will try lodging a ticket as I don't believe anyone else has access and when we were with Exetel on our prior plan (10GB) we never even came close ...

Usage meter too high
Hi exetel, Are you able to look into my usage meter? I've been an exetel user for ages and never had this problem until we recently opened a new account, 0280849580 I am getting peak download usages far in excess of what we are actually using - 1,170MB and 700MB with just web browsing? No videos, no...

Don't worry you're not the only one, something stuffed at Exetel's end.

Re: SMS Coming from +61427895844
Yeh I had the same thing - people receiving SMSs i sent through Exetel's web sms interface were getting them from a different number. Real pain in the butt.
