Well if you go on a contract you're sure charges can't increase during that period. I'm not sure how far is 'a long way' from your exchange; we're over 3km from a RIM , itself ~9km by fibre from the T-only exchange and tend to get 1250-1350kbps at best, so figure there'd be zero advantage trying 8M...

Those screen caps look correct to me. $40 to change plans with no contract, or $0 to change plans with a contract. Maybe FA thought you meant you were being charged extra $40 evry month? The $40 is a one-off plan change fee. The post Im referring to of FA's is in reference to the change of plan fee...

I only recently changed to 1500/256 TL-BA this year BECAUSE I can't get ADSL2 from my pitiful exchange, and I live almost 5k's from it as well. So as much as I would like an option to move to ADSL2 with exetel, I don't get that choice.... the 1500/256 was the best other option. And now the web page ...

family members report thagt www.myspace.com has been intermittent or no access during the filtering period. Same machines with "3" wireless broadband router (USB) connects. Some issue with exetel service.

(1) Off peak for demand management (2) Off peak for charging management (yes I know they are connected - it enables demand management by encouraging high bandwidth usage at less sociable hours, unless you are a vampire - like off-peak electricity.)
