Anytime downloads

OK, I give up.
What is "anytime downloads" and why is the world a better place with it?
Yes, I've tried to find it on your site.

Re: Report Broken Links/Failed Web Functions Here

Your ExeSim plan says that I can get UNLIMITED national minutes, SMS and MMS subject to the Acceptable Use Policy. The 3GB of data is not subject to this policy. It's reasonable to assume that the policy exists to protect Exetel from uber-excessive use. Try to find ANY unlimited plan for ANY product...

Could you please also consider telling me where to find policy, now?

Re: Report Broken Links/Failed Web Functions Here

I can't find the "Acceptable Use Policy" for mobile plans. Clicking on the plan I want brings up some more info with a tiny little link to "Critical Information Summary". Click on that and you get a PDF with more info including a link to the "Full Terms and Conditions" which is not actually a link. ...

Most (all?) of the issues posted will be resolved with a new release of the members portal in the next few days.
Is that like "dog years" where one of Exetel's days equals seven of ours?

Re: New website glitches

I just got a historical whopper of a VOIP bill, but there's no way to check it. For heaven's sake, Exetel, this is something you need to fix NOW. You can't charge for something and keep the details "secret". Please don't appologise for the inconvenience or tell me that you'll pass it on to the devel...

Re: New website glitches

Exetel have turned their site into a RPG (that's "role playing game" not "rocket propelled grenade") I went to "About Us" to find the magic "X" to kill the Jolly Green Text Box to see the clean desks, but my view of the "X" was obscured by the impenetrable "Monitor's Edge". As Exetel would say... "B...

OK, CLoSeR, I give up. How'd ya do that?

I had to laugh.
My 15 year old childerbeast asked me if Exetel needed him to help design the website.
I said yes.

Re: New website glitches

“Who is Gertrude? Click and find out” No offence to Gertrude… I’m sure she’s very nice… but I get suspicious when I see similar pop-ups on a website. I really do appreciate all that she does for Exetel (and therefore me)… but I don’t need to know that she’s a Pisces who likes horse-riding, meeting p...

I appreciate your effort to accomodate mobile users, but please don't go down the path of Windows 8 and dumb-down everyone elses experience.

Re: New website glitches

Lowering resolution makes no difference. 1024x768 and 800x600 are identical.
Using Firefox.

IanS,
I got back to ye olde website, but I'm not certain how.
Try logging on THEN clicking the link which you can't see.

New website glitches

Hey Exetel,
There's heaps of your new site which I can't read or access.
It won't fit on my monitor and I can't scroll across to it. I can't even CTRL/MouseWheel.
I'm viewing it at 1280x1024 on Firefox.
People with smaller monitors won't even see your "Old website" link.
Please sack the designer.

Overseas DIDs

I remember seeing overseas DIDs available (many moons ago).
The Exetel VOIP Product Information page says that it's possible, but I can't find any more info.
Is it still possible and are there Nairobi Kenya DIDs or something close?

Re: Alleged Copyright Infringement Notices - Getting Spammed

Theoretically.......
If someone were to get a copyright nasty-gram, would changing your IP address afterwards have any benefit?
Do Exetel record details of old IP address?
Is there any need for VPN and, if so, is there a cheap one which would do the job?

I say again, theoretically....
