Re: A few question about Vodafone and Exetel

2. Any ideas if the free Vodafone to Vodafone call includes Exetel numbers? There are no free V2V calls. The 50 free calls/txts are Exetel to Exetel. Does anyone know if when a Vodafone customer makes a call to an Exetel (Vodafone) customer, the call is recognised by Vodafone as being within their ...

Re: Mobile Offerings From Exetel

Hello, What about an iPhone offering? atmint I have used both the HSPA M1 HB Optus sourced service and the Mobile X Vodafone service on my iPhone and depending on coverage the services worked perfectly AND were much better value than any of the capped plans from the big telcos. The inclusion of a V...

Re: Mobile Offerings From Exetel

Not sure if this 'Mobile offerings" is referencing both of your carrier options, but want to reiterate that the vodafone network often has little or no relevance to rural users, of the two, Optus being the strongest choice. So as a rural user my vote is for the 50 calls at $12.50pm on the optus net...

Re: iPhone 3G Voip App advice

I am using SIAX on my iPhone on Exetel VoIP via 3G.

It has good call quality and no echo or lag. Go for the Pro version as it allows you to use the keyboard to access the Voicemail function of your Exetel VoIP service.

iPhone needs to be jailbroken.

Re: Can I receive Email notification when voicemail left?

I am not receiving voicemails as emails. I followed the instructions above, I have set up the outgoing messages and recorded some test messages but nothing is coming to the nominated email address. Is there anything special that I have to do in the voicemail setup (ie over the phone)? If you disabl...

Re: HSPA VoIP Performance

This morning I put the SIM card from my test modem into my friend's Optus locked iPhone 3G. The SIM registered straight away and I was able to go onto the net via 3G. So much for the stories circulating elswhere about the iPhone being SIM locked. I could not make a call via the normal phone system, ...

Re: Report Broken Links/Failed Web Functions Here

On the HSPA Broadband page, the link to HSPA Voice Charges goes to ADSL "Other" Charges where there is no information relating to HSPA Voice Charges.

Thankyou

Re: I-phone 3G Plans

much cheaper if you use our non capped plans; http://www.exetel.com.au/mobile_plans.php That's 41c per MB or $410 per GB if you use the GPRS rates. Is there some way that the new data only accounts discussed elsewhere can be "bolted onto" your normal phone accounts? You would be onto a winner with ...

Re: Revisions To Exetel's Mobile Plans

We are in the process of revising the mobile plans offered by Exetel. If you have a 'wish list' of things you would like changed or added please let us know. iPhone with unlimited data? I don't know how to go about dealing with the iPhone 'lock' concepts. No doubt you have heard that Vodafone have ...

I think this is a great idea. I dumped my fax line because it wasn't worth the $30 a month I had to pay tel$tra. But $1 a month to be able to accommodate the odd Luddite is great value. PDF or JPEG files would be fine.
