Just to be sure, I turned off wifi and enabled edge (although I know it's not really edge), started maps and hit the location button. It took about 5 seconds to jump to my location and display approx 6 blocks of map around the centre of the screen, then paused a bit, and got up to about 20 seconds b...

I've been noticing a few drop outs lately and checking modem stats showed it was only syncing at around 1500/350 (adsl+ plan). Changing modem (bilion 7300g) to g.dmt got the sync up to 5200/400.
