SMS billing notification
Hi
I just got an SMS notification telling me that I was going to interim billed $9900 for my mobile phone. I checked my account and it hasn't anything like those sort of charges on it. I assume this is a spam message and its safe to ignore?
Cheers

Out of Contract Billing
My "new contract" end date is 1/3/11 and I am on the TE-2E plan (tesltra ADSL2+) for $78 per month. Does this plan go up $10 per month in March as per the January email because I am out of contract? Just looking to know so I can make a decision on changing to TCV20-Region-200 before end of month. Ch...

Re: Can't make Calls
Running a Billion 7404VNOX. Has been working fine. Internet is running fine 15Mbps ASDL2+ . Its not the hardware cause I tried the same SIP account on a minitar box I have here and also on the softphone. No firewalls enabled. I even signed up another DID account to see if it was just the existing ac...

Can't make Calls
Hi
I just switched onto ADSL2+ Telstra. My VoIP is not allowing outbound calls. Just gives and engaged signal. I've tried resetting password and wiping out and reconfiguring modems. I even loaded up the softphone and tried it, and it just comes back the same. Anyone got any ideas?
Cheers

Re: Off Peak Period Change
Don't post libellous, or just plain incorrect, claims here I'm going to be nice and assume that wasn't directed at me as none of my posts contain incorrect or libellous information or statements. I'm glad to see that some sense has prevailed. May I suggest that if you want to increase the peak usag...

Re: Off Peak Period Change
There is no change of value - unless you download an amount that cannot be accommodated in 180 hours a month.....very hard to actually do that. You're kidding right?? You guys (Exetel) are looking at it all wrong........you have just reduced the value of my plan. I was paying $75pm for 30Gb of data...

Re: Off Peak Period Change
Can we please have a definitive answer from Exetel. Are you letting people out of their contracts given the huge change you are making to the value of the services you are offering?

VoIP calls engaged
Hi Not sure what is causing this but I get nothing but engaged when I try to dial out on the VoIP. I get the dial tone and dial the number but just engaged. The VoIP says its registered in the router so I'm at a bit of a loss. I checked it on a friends of mine exetel VoIP who has a similar router (B...

Re: 12 Hour 'Off Peak' Now For New ADSL2 Plans
Its quite interesting though that they are yet to change the plan I'm on to draw me to the new plan. I'm on the old TELO plan 8192/384 36Gb/54Gb $85pm but if I change to the new plan I lose 6Gb of peak usage and gain 6Gb off peak usage. Not really any incentive to change plans. Maybe in the next rou...

Can't add a new mobile service
I am trying to add a new mobile service to my account but when I fill in the form it won't let me select a new mobile number, is it a problem with the form or are they not allowing new mobiles to be added?

Transfering email accounts
Hi
I've just changed service number since moving addresses and just got reconnected. How do I transfer my existing email accounts from the old service number to the new?
Cheers

Re: ADSL2 Moving Address
Thanks for the response Corey. The ADSL2 bounced this morning and have put in an ADSL1 application. So hopefully will be back online in a few days.

ADSL2 Moving Address
Hi I have just moved house and filled in the whole moving service form. My old connection has been disconnect and my new connection is in the pending stage (the incphone plans). I've just spoken to a telstra tech who did some work on my line and my new connection is on a RIM so no ADSL2 I guess. I n...
