Re: seeing hidden htaccess file

You could always install Apache on your computer to test out different scenarios and investigate the httpd.conf file.

For windows http://mirror.exetel.com.au/pub/apache/ ... 32-src.zip

Re: seeing hidden htaccess file

ciscokid you need to modify the code for it to work on linux servers firstly your $dir_store variable should be a virtual directory string on exetel servers this is namely "/var/www/ftpwebspace"..... etc In your case try this $dir_store= $_SERVER['DOCUMENT_ROOT']."/computers/uploads/antenna/"; & ens...

I setup a quick test upload script at http://home.exetel.com.au/shitkent/_bookmark.php

You might need to check your code or post it here as the uploader i created seems to work... with the only modification being the ending directory is chmod to 777.

Could well be a permission issue. According to http://au.php.net/mkdir When safe mode is enabled, PHP checks whether the directory in which you are about to operate has the same UID (owner) as the script that is being executed.
