Re: Unlimited ADSL2 Plans

I don't think I will go down that path again, unless it's an Increased Quota with clearly defined limits that are acceptable to Exetel and the user base's performance up front (not unlimited). To each their own. In fact I don't think I will go down that path again full stop. To me, (because of your ...

No worries :) It was probably safe to assume I was, as I was writing in the Exe forum

Re: I'd like to switch to Exetel but...

Yes it does. Thanks for that! I am definitely on Optus' copper network as I have switched between Optus providers previously with no dramas. Great. Just remember as advised that if you transfer over it will be with phone included. Yep realize that, and being on Naked is not as flexible as it once w...

Re: I'd like to switch to Exetel but...

Hi, 1/ What is involved with switching my Naked service with another provider back to Exetel's serviced Optus plans and if there is any downtime involved etc. 2/ What the cost involved would be for the transfer side of it only (to get me back to a serviced line from Naked with another supplier). I ...

Re: I'd like to switch to Exetel but...

I am seriously not getting the information I need, I have tried with 3 emails now and each time (I have tried to be as clear as possible) I get answers that only 1/2 answer the questions or don't make any sense at all. The last one being that I need to go to my members area and change my plan. I am ...

Re: I'd like to switch to Exetel but...

I called Exetel on Wednesday making an inquiry about moving my current naked service (with another ISP) back to Exetel's OF-200 service wanting to know the costs involved with moving me back from Naked etc. The very nice lady said to me the service is available tome but didn't know enough to advise ...

Re: exetel settings on Android

Old Flame I strongly recommend you to give Sipdroid a try. http://sipdroid.org/ It is the god father of native SIP/VOIP on Android. It has been cloned into several different VOIP application on Android. Tin. Thanks, I'll give that a try and post the result later. Thanks, Took too long to find somet...

Re: Interest in iPad Plans?

Thanks for that. We will consider. Why can't we just use your current plan HSPA WI E ? $0 per month monthly access charge and 2 cents per MB The only downside is the 12months contract ($100) Because the iPad requires a different SIM (or so I am led to believe) I could understand $30/GB excess but $...

Re: Interest in iPad Plans?

Still doesn't explain why some Optus data plans are $0 per month and $15/GB Excess, doesn't seem logical at all really. I thought data was data.

Re: Interest in iPad Plans?

Why the huge variance in excess data costs from the same supplier? $15-$17.50/GB
excess on other Optus wireless plans and $100 excess on an iPad plan, this doesn't make sense, lets not get on the iWagon, surely data costs are data costs? Or is there some other reason?
