Re: Telephone Conference Room From Exetel

This is another great idea from Exetel, but just have to have one little gripe, the FAQ on how to use it would help before broadcasting it can be used, as has already been said, we aren't psychics and can't read the minds of the Exetel guru's on this. Don't get me wrong, I 'do' think this is a great...

Re: ADSL1 V ADSL2+ plans =

Yeh, ok, smart answer James, but when application is made for NONPHONE it asks for a phone number and tells you it will delete your phone number, not what a NONPHONE account should have, as I don't want my phone number changed and nor do I want a phone with Exetel. So how do I get around all that st...

Re: ADSL1 V ADSL2+ plans =

Thanks for that information, it was enlightening indeed, someone, not Exetel or I are making a lot of money for themselves out of this. Ok, next question is, how much will it cost me to switch over, as I'm only 1km from the exchange, I should be ok as far as speed goes, but is there a cost to change...

ADSL1 V ADSL2+ plans =

Hi I can't help but notice that for ADSL1 I 8192kbps Down/384kbps Up I pay $75.00/month 16GB & 48GB respectively, but for $70.00/month on the ADSL2+ plan I get 32GB and 48GB respectively, where is the equity in that? I rang some time ago, when these plans came out, and when ADSL2+ was available in D...

I like the idea of Number 2 option, as it would not only give you and alternative choice but do what has never happened before, that is you find out when you have reached the limit, whereas before you got a shock when you received the next account. So, question back, when are we going to know which ...

Hmm, not nice - Rocket Science indeed

If Exetel and you read my emails and my posts you would see it's a different home, not me, another person, someone else ..... who is having the problem, so how I'm meant to paste and let who ever know what is on the email is miraculous indeed..yet to find out how I do that. If I could attach the ema...

Hi Gidget I am absolutely sure, he has had it go through before, but not able for the since I paid up the $2 a month for the SPAM filter. I could not understand what you said in your quote as to what I had to do, it all sounds a little complicated, why can't there be a logical and easy to get throug...

New problem

I went to the site and logged my fault and the email back directs you to this forum to place the fault on, mind, it did give a ticket, but didn't like doing that it seems. Can't fault Exetel except when a fault of any kind rears up, which thankfully isn't very often. My fault isn't major, except it ...

ADSL1 to ADSL2+

u could check your line authentication and compare it to the exetel graph for a rough approximation. It shows an approximation of line authentication and speeds you'll get. That sounds good, but where do I do that, have no idea where and what to look for. 1. Line authentication - where is this done...

ADSL1 to ADSL2+

Hi As a satisfied Exetel customer, I would like to ask this question and have a real good idea on what I should do. I noticed some very good prices for ADSL2+ as against my current price for ADSL1 plan, and after being told by one of the techo's when I rang that I wouldn't gain any significant benef...

Hi, I believe I was the on that told you that information over the phone today. What I was really trying to point out is you can really get anything between 1.5mbit to 24 mbit depending on distance and quality of the telephone line. Quite a lot of people may not be able to get faster then 8 mbits d...

ADSL2+

Hi I recently, ok it was 6 months ago... :) and was told that in my case ADSL2+ would not benefit me (currently on ADSL1 8000/386), as the speed increase would not be enough for me to want to change. My question is, ok it's not, but if ADSL2+ customers are getting these great deals, are us that are ...

Re: FAX Via Email

The ability to send SMS from an Exetel broadband connection has been enthusiastically taken up by many customers and we will continue to add to and refine the features and functions of that service. We are considering adding the ability to send and receive Faxes using the Exetel broadband services ...
