Re: Exetel issuing Sydney numbers to Maitland residents

Good evening I have been advised that the phone number is in the process of being changed. The larger problem is that these types of issues occur and someone else is left to pick up the bill. My next question is 'how often does this occur and how wide spread is this type of issue within this company...

Re: Exetel issuing Sydney numbers to Maitland residents

I take that point about numbers being requested but this was not the case and by the incompetence of the whoever set this number up, a lot of people have been charged national rates for calls they believed were local calls. This is an abject failure or plain incompetence by those involved. Why shoul...

Exetel issuing Sydney numbers to Maitland residents

My daughter has recently signed up with Exetel as her NBN provider. When the installation was done she was advised there were some issues with keeping her existing numbers and to speed up the process she would be given a new number. Her phone is now VOIP. She was allocated a new number and thought n...

Re: Mobile broadband setup

OK Looked up the manual. When I attempt to add APN the phone asks for a PIN2 code. When I look up PIN2 code in the maula it says "PIN codes The personal identification number (PIN) code and the universal personal identification number (UPIN) code (4 to 8 digits) help to protect your SIM card against...

Mobile broadband setup

Just switched to a Z15 plan and the mobile works fine but I cannot work out the mobile broadband setup. When I try to go onto the web the phone tries to connect through my previous carrier. Any help will be appreciated. The phone is a Nokia 6110 navigator.

Logging in to 192.168.1.1

I'm trying to set up a Netcomm NB6PLUS4W Rev2 for my daughter on a new exetel plan. When I get to step 2 in the quick set-up and type 192.168.1.1 into the address bar on the web browser a message comes up "cannot connect to 192.168.1.1" I have tried different things to connect without success. Re: Increase to plan charge #2

Good morning Thank you for responding but I have no idea what "modem sync stats" are. 1. I've tried to attach a snap of my last 12 months usage http://yfrog.com/b812mthusagep 2. I've checked with your link and it seems that ADSL2 can be received at my current address. 3. OK 4. It always seems to be ...

Re: Increase to plan charge #2

I'm totally confused. I also received the email re: $5 per month increase in plan price. I am currently on a TEL1 plan which is a ADSL1 plan. I don't really understand the download limits etc and originally went on this plan for the connection speed and I don't think I have ever approached my limits...

Re: Resetting email password

Evening Jason I've just bought a new PC and everything is fine apart from the email. As with 'tega" I cannot see my email accounts on the members page. Possibly I the password may need restting on the Exetel page, not sure. When I activate Outlook Express and add an account it works fine. When I hit...

Web space setup

It may not be appropriate to add these comments to this post but here goes. I have been trying off and on to set up my own web space for some time but without real success. The setup information appears to be directed at people who know what they are doing, not people like myself who are new to this...

How do I update my index file?

After I made the post I realised that I had tried to set up web space previously but without success. When I go to the configuration page my web space details are there but when I use the link to my web address URL it sends me to the page that says: "You are viewing this default web page because you...

Web space configuration

I,m not sure if this is the correct forum for my problem but here goes. I am trying to set up my web space and on the page titled 'web page configuration' it says to click on the "Add Web Space" button above. I don't see any button! Is my browser configured incorrectly, if so how should it be config...
