Re: 2 PSTN lines under one phone number
Hi, For; "I have set up a new B30 (telstra) Exetel plan with the view to ordering an extra PSTN line under the same number to go in rotary into a telephone system. Having a lot of trouble finding out if that is possible. If not then will order the lines through telstra. Can anyone confirm?" - It's s...

Great. Just remember as advised that if you transfer over it will be with phone included.Yes it does. Thanks for that! I am definitely on Optus' copper network as I have switched between Optus providers previously with no dramas.

Hi, 1/ What is involved with switching my Naked service with another provider back to Exetel's serviced Optus plans and if there is any downtime involved etc. 2/ What the cost involved would be for the transfer side of it only (to get me back to a serviced line from Naked with another supplier). I c...

Re: New Telephone Line Provisioning - Optus Service
Hi Paul I am moving in 2 weeks. Optus based plans have recently been added to my members facilities "Move Service" page. Like Yabbie (above) , I believed Optus services were unavailable from my exchange to be (West Tamworth). An Optus technician has told me (by online chat) that " Optus Cable or Op...

Re: New Telephone Line Provisioning - Optus Service
Hi Brad, Is there a way I can find out if I can get an Optus based Exetel service? For example the OT-100 plan shows up in my user facilities (to swap to), but I don't believe I can actually do it. I believe I'm limited to one of the (over priced) telstra ADSL2+ plans. With these changes, does it af...

Re: New Telephone Line Provisioning - Optus Service
Hi, As I understand, this is to provision a NEW Optus phone line/number regardless of whether the phone line is active or not at the new address. The applicant will lose the existing phone number as a result. You have to be careful here. We are talking about an application form for NEW customers whe...

Re: Moving...
Hi, I am currently an Exetel ADSL2/PHONE/MOBILE CUSTOMER and I am moving house. I tried relocating my service but I was told I have to get a new phone line set up at the new house. If I set up a Telstra phone line and then switch to Exetel does Telstra charge you a breaking early contract fee? than...

Re: Transfer Your Current PSTN Home Number To Exetel VoIP
Hi Mark I believe answered this to you privately? The Naked ADSL2 forms which included the ability to port PSTN to VOIP has now been discontinued as a product to buy from our website. I dont know whether you applied for a naked ADSL2 yet. However I recommend you go here; https://www.exetel.com.au/ps...

Re: HSPA FAQ
Hi Basshead, This might've already been asked before, but is a quick question I am sure someone would be able to answer quite simply... Will the HSPA SIM work on an old(ish) Motorola Razor V3 mobile phone? From reading the FAQ and various other information it appears that I need to use a modem/USB f...

Re: Applying for new service instead of moving service
I will be moving within the next fortnight. My present plan is to increase by $10 per month. I can apply to move the service but the OT-PAYU plan (the cheapest plan offered) is not available when moving the service. It seems to me that I can apply for the OT-PAYU plan at the new address and, at the...

Re: Don't understand the latest Provisioning letter
Hi,
We need to fix this. There is no need to locate any current account number for naked adsl2 customers upgrading to OCV.
We'll get this done by C.O.B today.
