Re: TCV20-200

I started asking what the problem was and was told I already had an ADSL1 port, and Telstra will not just change me over to ADSL2 port by default, you are connected for a port which is enabled for ADSL. If your exchange was upgraded recently for ADSL2, then your service would have been connected on...

Just got off the phone, I got sick of waiting( I was told someone would conact me by COB Monday 2-5-11) so I rang Exetel and was told that my TCV20-200 service would be working by COB 9-5-2011. I started asking what the problem was and was told I already had an ADSL1 port, and Telstra will not just ...

mobile internet plan price query

I have an ADSL1 service and I have just looked at getting a mobile broadband service as well. I am not sure if I am reading this right but it seems that new customers can get far cheaper rates than existing customers, i.e. S5 =5GB for $25 for a new customer as opposed to WP5= 5GB for $45 if I apply ...

Re: Plan change charges

just adding my 2 bobs worth I have been a good exetel customer for years and have referred several people who are new customers, now they are looking at me and saying what is with these forced changes. Re: New ADSL Plans For July 1st 2009

If the new very poor value plans are coming in on the 1st of July, why can I no longer change to the old PAYUDSL2 plan? I was going to change to a PAYU1500 plan (about $37.50/mth I think) earlier this month but didn't get around to it thinking I had till the end of the month, when I looked yesterda...

$5 minimum spend

Why do I have a $5 min spend on my voip acct ( I have this in conjunction with an ADSL1 acct). When I try to see what exetels voip plans cost there only seems to be one plan, Plan B see this link http://www.exetel.com.au/voip_planA.php (note the web address says plan A) I also have 100 free landline...

Re: Admin fee for new V existing users

The new plan prices are more expensive that the old plan prices. On my plan, I'd rather pay a $3 admin fee than $10 extra plan price + $1.1 credit card fee. not so in my case new plan 512K is $40 + no fee, my old plan 512K is $40 + $3 admin fee although I am allowed an extra 2GB peak compared to th...

Re: Admin fee for new V existing users

Current customers pay the $3 administration fee with the Credit Card / Direct Debit fee. New customers only pay the Credit Card fee (if applicable, no fee for Direct Debit). So why should new customers be exempt from the fee when using direct debit and I, who has been a customer for years, have to ...
