Helpdesk website gone?
Whatever happened to the helpdesk website helpdesk.exetel.com.au? This now just redirects me to www.exetel.com.au/contact-us#. It is sometimes handy to login and refer back to previous issues that were resolved historically as well as having an overview of all previous issues.

Re: The Exetel 15~20 Year Club
Signed up 08/2004. The service has been very reliable over the years, since ADSL1 days. STILL waiting for our area to be connected to the NBN though
which I expect I'll do with Exetel.

Helpdesk down?
I'm trying to lodge a ticket via the usual https://helpdesk.exetel.com.au/, but it simply returns:
Could not resolve host: cerberus.exetel.com.au
Is this a temporary glitch?

Personal Web Space usage meter
I have 200 MB quota allocated for my personal web space. Is there a way to tell how much of this quota has been used in MyExetel?

Re: ADSL outage in NSW?
It's odd that PPP goes down at different times for different people. PPP was fine between 12:27am - 8:16am for me.Mort wrote:Looks like it went down around 3am.

Re: ADSL outage in NSW?
I agree with Mort. I have been with Exetel for over 10 years and never had a problem with auth (i.e. ADSL ok, lost PPP) in the early days, but increasingly more and more so over the past few years. For me, PPP dropped out again this morning here in Hornsby at 00:27 but recovered, now I have no PPP a...

PPP dropped out in Hornsby
I just wanted to mention that I lost PPP at around 1:30am here in Hornsby and it returned a short time ago at 9:50. ADSL sync was still fine during this time. The number of PPP drop-outs I have experienced in the past year or so is much greater on average than over the years I have been with Exetel,...

Re: no authentication/login failing
The connection went up and down for half an hour like a yoyo, presumably while the techs were working on the problem, but PPP's been stable for an hour now.

Re: no authentication/login failing
Same here in Hornsby (Sydney). Modem is still synced to the DSLAM but PPP dropped out at 5:02am this morning.
Exetel, could you confirm any known issues please?

Re: Exetel iOS app removed from App Store
Add my vote for an updated app please. My preference is for a secure xml feed that could be used for the Firefox addon I use though. A shame that was shut down, it was much more convenient than logging in to My Exetel.

Re: Usasge meter no longer working
My Firefox Net Usage extension is no longer working because the xml feed was killed, without notice, which is somewhat annoying.
Will there be an alternative method provided without having to log in to member's facilities?
Thanks,
Steve

Hornsby back up as of around 10 minutes ago.
A comment from Exetel Support would be much appreciated.

Finally, after more than 8 hours. Don't they have network engineering monitoring outside of business hours?Mort wrote:They've acknowledged the issue, but only detail is "waiting for update from supplier"https://forum.exetel.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=296&t=42979
