thanks for your reply I rang support tonight to get my connection password and tried a PPPoE direct connection with my computer. connected, but exactly the same problem as I have with my router.
some sites work and others don't.
so I am guessing its not my end then. please advise.

I'm sure Exetel's ticket is not closed, I never said Exetel's ticket was closed.
I was stating the NBN ticket is closed on my case, meaning it's not NBN's problem. Meaning its opticom's problem, either there hardware or software configuration on there system.
