Re: New Bundled ADSL/Wire Line/Mobile Plans
Thanks Oldie1954, I suspected everything had been cancelled, but I wanted to be sure, so I put in a cancellation. I just hope now, that Exetel won't (somehow) be able to cancel my service with NetCube since they have my address details etc. As long as you've already got service from NetCube it shou...

Re: New Bundled ADSL/Wire Line/Mobile Plans
Hi, How do you cancel your service? If you're transferring to another ISP, you don't need to cancel, they should do it for you. Otherwise you have to give 30 days notice. You should get back pro-rata if you change. Section 12.7/12.8, T&C. Also, If you remove your direct debit they can't take any mo...

Just tried both numbers. Apparently after 9am is "out of business hours". WTF?angelos wrote:You may call Exetel on 1300788141 or 0280301000 and request to cancel your service.Yabbie wrote:How do you cancel your service?

Re: New Bundled ADSL/Wire Line/Mobile Plans
Hi , Exetel regularly review and simplify our suite of available broadband bundle plans. We do this to ensure all customer services keep pace with the rapidly growing demand for data usage and the increasing cost of network bandwidth. Re: New Bundled ADSL/Wire Line/Mobile Plans
Just received an email from Exetel forcing me on to a new plan. Wow! Do these new plans suck! I currently get 500GB download whenever I like, which is plenty for me. Now, I have a "choice" of a crap 50G with peak/off peak, or an overpriced 1TB plan. In the past, I've always been able to stay on my c...

Re: Telephone dead but Internet still works
Having a working ADSL while the PSTN is not working is not that uncommon. Line get's split into 2 different circuits, one for DSL and for PSTN. Possible that the line card for PSTN in the exchange, open circuit in the distribution or even internal cabling. We will have to wait for technician's find...

Telephone dead but Internet still works
Hello, Over the last three weeks, my landline has gone from working perfectly to a bit of static, to a lot of static to being dead (no dial tone, nothing). Oddly (to me), my Internet still works albeit a bit slower than usual (lower line sync). I've done an isolation test and that made no difference...

Re: New Bundled ADSL/Wire Line/Mobile Plans
Has any of the long term customers (and I have been around since the beginning) got a problem not being offereded the same bundles being offered to new customers ? When ever I make an inquiry I get the run around as to we're working on it. For those who haven't seen the new plans go to the web page...

Hi James,James wrote:Exetel has a ten year track record of doing its best by our customers.
I realise this, and I meant no offence, it's just that in the past it's never taken this long for "good" new plans to trickle down to existing customers before (that I can remember).

Re: New Plans!
I can't believe how long it has taken for absolutely no further update for the new plans for existing customers! The new plans that are available are much cheaper than currently available to existing customers. Is there any accurate ETA for when these new plans will be available to existing (and lo...
