Considering Exetel's user base is pretty much word of mouth, can rest assured the word of mouth will not be great.
Can also rest assured Exetel, my agent status will be cancelled and friends, family & clients will be told to look elsewhere than Exetel.

Re: Termination of service
Same, i'm totally disgusted by Exetel's random boot of its users, especially those who are not breaching any Acceptable Use Policy and those not even going near their monthly download quotas. The fact no reason is given for this is absurd, i'd understand if i was breaching something, but just a rand...

Re: Member Facilities - Cannot Login
When testing using wireless using my Exetel ADSL connection, it fails. When i turn off wifi and use Optus mobile data, it logs in fine. Same thing occurs if i tether my laptop to my phone and access the site that way. This must mean, the issue is related to either my IP or how the site functions whe...

I've tested using both, though i've never ever been able to login using the @nsw.exetel.com.au to the Member Facilities.

Re: Member Facilities - Cannot Login
This is clearly an issue more than just affecting myself, can this please be looked at.
None of my passwords have changed, and no matter which browser is used, the error message is identical.

Re: Member Facilities - Cannot Login
Try clearing the Exetel cookies in your browser, they sometimes go stale. This is occurring across multiple browsers on my laptop, my phone and my tablet, even after clearing the cookies. This is also occurring for others according to other Whirlpool forums - http://forums.whirlpool.net.au/forum-re...

Member Facilities - Cannot Login
Hi, Since yesterday (have only been trying since yesterday) i have been unable to login to the Member Facilities. When trying to login, i simply receive a blank white page with text "Rate limit on logins exceeded. Please try again later." I have left it hours between login attempts, and still receiv...

Re: ADSL Usage Meter Not Working
This has now been fixed. :) For the most part yes, ADSL usage no longer shows up in my account when you login, you have to now manually navigate to Services & Usage -> ADSL -> Usage. Can the previous way be restored where my ADSL usage was on the My Account page? EDIT: Nevermind, after manually vie...

XML Usage Meter - error=Incorrect User/Pass
Hi Guys, I have my own usage meter coded in Python which has suddenly failed due to rejecting username/password for the XML usage meter. The address is https://www.exetel.com.au/members/usagemeter_xml.php? I am now receiving a "error=Incorrect User/Pass" from that address when entering my correct us...

Re: New Plans!
Jeremy, you should remember that Exetel receives bounties/commissions/etc from suppliers for new customers. This is how these new plans are offered. There is no ETA for when these plans will be available to current customers. Certainly, but i would have hoped after 6 months or more, there would hav...

Re: New Plans!
I can't believe how long it has taken for absolutely no further update for the new plans for existing customers! The new plans that are available are much cheaper than currently available to existing customers. I've been with Exetel for a while now, along with worked at Exetel for 3.5 years (includi...

Yeah me also, just as I was logging into a work server via VPN.
Would be nice if Exetel could SMS people to let them know when an outage has occured even if its a 'unknown NSW'.
Luckily i have my mobile phone to check what's going on.

Re: What Modem/Router Do I Need For A Fibre Service?
In modem configuration I can see "EWAN" available for WAN port (the other 2 are adsl and 3G), so that was why I thought it has an ethernet WAN port. Actually i stand corrected, despite there being no such information for this function/feature provided on the Billion website, using 'EWAN' you would ...
