Re: New ADSL2+ plans for existing customers
I'm currently paying $77 for 500Gb, I want to switch to $39 for 100Gb as that will be sufficient now. The extra $38/mth I could be saving is a fair amount at this point in time.
You do know that $39 plan will add $20 line charge, so the difference is not that great as you tho...

Re: ADSL2 frequent drop out/difficult to sync
Hello jintao, The ticket has been responded to you earlier this morning so there is no requirement to open multiple tickets. We're going to need further line test for the purpose of showing proof to our supplier if there is any problems with the line. Please reply back to the ticket once you have t...

ADSL2 frequent drop out/difficult to sync
Hi, I emailed this issue to your support but have not received a response. Two weeks ago (around 15-Jul) I raised a ticket (#1466018) for slow sync. Exetel did some line testing but did not see imporvement. But since the connection was stable, I'll live with the speed. However since 1-Aug, my connec...

Re: Change In Off Peak/Peak Times
All of the people who changed their download period away from 12 midnight when we had that discussion will keep it after 1/8/09 as a 'thank you' for being a good Exetel "citizen". So they keep a 12 hour download period.
I used to set my off peak from 2am-2pm, but since r...

Re: Relocation on ADSL2
Hi Jason,
Thanks for the effort. Both email and web space has been migrated to my new account now.
However there is another issue. I can't change IP address. It says "Your Account status is inactive. You cannot change modem ip address details." How come my account is still inactive?

Re: ADSL2 sync too slow
This is billion 7404 stats page, to be more precise: Connect Mode: ADSL2+, auto-fallback Modulation: G.Dmt.BisPlusAuto. After fiddle with some settings, I did occasionally see sync speed as very close to 8mbps, so it is still possible that I'm on stability profile. Without calling technician, can ex...

ADSL2 sync too slow
Hi, I have just relocated to new place. It is about 1.3km to the exchange. Below is my stats. I think based on Attenuation, my sync is too slow. Have tried isolation test (in fact, nothing except the modem is connected), the maximum is around 7mbps. Does this mean exetel has put me in some sort of "...

Re: Relocation on ADSL2
Jason,
My service is activated today. However, all my email and web space setup are still in old account page. So it is not automatically migrated.
I have PMed details to you.

Relocation on ADSL2
Hi, I have submitted relocation and estimated activation day is 10-Jul. I can access the member's page on the new service number now. My old account page is still accessible but most pages are inactive. Since my email and web space is setup in the old account page, would exetel automatically migrate...

Re: New ADSL Plans For July 1st 2009
I still prefer a no-frills plan but with bigger quota. I'm sort of person that needs large off-peak quota but not these "frills". I know the ADSL2 "no-frills" plan has not been published. is it too late for John to consider a no-frills plan with the same off-peak quota as the current INC2DSLA but wi...

Telephone service after terminating ADSL2+
Hi, I have a question, I'm on ADSL2+ plan (both phone and net are optus wholesale). If I sell the house and disconnect Exetel's service, the phone will be cut too. So now who this line belong to? If the new owner moves in to connect phone service, who should they contact? Extel, Optus or Telstra? Th...

Charge on plan change
Hi,
If I change my current plan ($60) to a new plan ($75) around the end of this month, what will I be charged for the old pan and the new plan for this month? Are both pro rata based? Thanks.
