Re: New Residential Members Facilities

The new layout looks a lot cleaner, much easier to navigate. Great job so far.

New plan - am I missing something?

I recently received notice my ADSL plan (TL-CA) will soon increase in price from $75 to $85, and thought I'd look at other plans as an alternative. Current: TL-CA: 15G/50G , 8192/384 ADLS1 This is going to be $85 now, so I've changed to: FP-D2 : 30G/Unlimited , 8192/384 ADLS1 - $75 I really don't un...

Re: Querie on ADSL2 availability

Your service is not supplied directly from the exchange, but a RIM or pair gains system fed from the exchange does - this means our supplier's (both) ADSL2+ equipment cannot reach your premises from the exchange. Ah, now I understand - many thanks Jason. RIMs look like this http://i304.photobucket....

Re: Querie on ADSL2 availability

Jason - I actually found another thread I had posted on this issue. A followed a few links supplied in Post #2 (CoreyPlover) ADSL2 Exchange site tells me it is available on my exchange. ExeTel's equivalent says it isn't. Is this "ADSL2 Exchange" site just wrong? Or might I get a DSL2 service thruogh...

I've checked and we can't supply an ADSL2+ service to you.
Jason - many thanks.

Querie on ADSL2 availability

Hello think-tank:) In the past I have found it difficult to ascertain if ADSL2 is available on my exchange. A previous attempt (2 years ago) failed due to 'incompatible RIM'. However, most sites (ie Telstra) where you 'check my number for available services' will tell me ADSL2 is available on my exc...

Churn from DSL1 to DSL2

I have been keen to move from my current ADSL1 plan to ADSL2 for some time, but I don't know the best way to find out when ADSL2 is available on my exchange. Several online ones tell me it is available right now (ie the Bigpond one) which was/is not the case. Does anyone know the best way to find ou...

Re: Slow speed in Perth

Yes, HELP!!! It's got even worse, most of us seem to be averaging 20kb/s now! Rifgt now, while I don't doubt what you are saying, I can see no congestion on the ADSL1 link to Optus that carries Perth traffic. Log a fault and your line will be checked. If your line is OK and we see no fault in any p...

Absolutely no change in 'off peak' period. In fact, it's worse: (i'm not even going to try the 15Mb test, bed calls :D) Test run on 05/05/2008 @ 02:37 AM Mirror: Exetel Data: 3 MB Test Time: 163.31 secs Your line speed is 150 kbps (0.15 Mbps).
