Re: Sylvania NSW, Slow Speed ADSL2

Hello I am wondering if you are getting my emails from the last week. I haven't heard from Tech Support after supplying details that they requested. I have left multiple followup requests for update. Are you receiving the emails ? Case #8033356, 50%+ packet loss - low speed, unreliable and almost un...

Sylvania NSW, Slow Speed ADSL2

Anyone experiencing slow ADSl speeds in the Sylvania NSW area. On and off for about a week, modem syncs at around 10Mb/Sec, and is reliable (not dropping out). Many Site timeouts, including access to the Exetel Member area and this forum. Oz Speed Test only shows < 80Kb/sec throughput to Exetel serv...

Re: The Exetel 6-year club

Pioneer Discount. Just a query, my application was placed prior to March 16th, 2004 as thats when I got the Telstra acknowledgement email, so I'm assuming 1 or 2 days before that was when I submitted my application. This is definitely prior to the 18th March that ForumAdmin indicated was the date of...

Re: Packet loss

From some posts I can see that there maybe an issue with dropped packets on the Powertel? metwork. My experience is that I seem to be averaging about 10% packet loss to the first hop (220.233.1.193) and that my service is starting to become almost unusable since I do a lot of VPN and SSH connections...

Re: Unable to Connect to Exetel SMTP Server

Yes

I'm trying to connect from an Exetel 115.70.33.xx IP address.

The original post (and this) was submitted outside of the exetel network.

Unable to Connect to Exetel SMTP Server

Re: ADSL2+ Slow in WA

Sorry, my oriiginal post was out of line - and I do apologise for being so abrupt - it was out of frustration :x . I'm an early March 2004 Exetel customer and have loyal for all these years. :D What is not clear from the helpdesk email, is if Telstra finds no fault with the premises and charge Exete...

Exetel authentication access points

Hi Just installed a number of services for a group of people around the country using Exetel. I've received the connection email but the ADSL account name was missing from the email. I know that it is the format of <phone#>@xxx.exetel.com.au and that xxx = nsw or vic for NSW and Victoria. What is xx...
