Re: Very slow download speed Hurstville Exchange

Hi,

I had also experienced very slow download speeds at the Hurstville exchange and now I am experiencing connectivity issues. Haven't been able to connect to the internet for the last 2 days!

Regards,
Rob

Re: Pensioner Broadband Plans?

I would sign my parents up straight away if you have a naked ADSL2+ plan for $20 per month with 1G's of data allowance (no off-peak) They will use Extel's VOIP service so a VOIP enable modem should be an option when they apply. I think it would be easier if you just make it a senior citizen broadban...

Re: VOIP lag on outgoing calls

Lets hope that will at least gets some response. For my part, i've seemingly had some small improvement. Lag not as long and occassionally no lag. Hopefully, someone at exetel or dynalink will take some interest in retifying this problem. jpm Has there been any developments on this? It's great that...

Yes. I am using a Dynalink modem (the wireless one that Exetel sells). So it's a modem issue?

Issues with receiving / making phone calls

Hi Exetel, For the past week I have been having issues with receiving / making phone calls. At first when you pick up a call there was a 15 second pause where you can't hear anything and after 15 seconds it was normal. Then it got worse and you couldn't even receive or make calls. There is always a ...

Re: Possible New ADSL2 Plans For New Financial Year

The biggest problem I have is that I want to refer as many of my friends to Exetel but they currently have a Bundled Home Phone / ADSL1 service with Optus so they are unable to churn to Exetel. I hope a switch in the provider will allow the churn as it is a win-win situation!

Re: Referral Bonus Doubled To $60.00

I've recently switched to a naked adsl2 plan so what do I tell my friends to put down as the Exetel Recommender Service Number? My old number or my new voip number?

In my opinion it is a better unit, from tests within our office they simply work without any problems.

No firmware upgrade or anything messy like that :)
So when is this new modem available to be ordered? This one is not listed either!

You will need to setup an ATA or softphone inorder to use VoIP unless you already have an all in one unit like the NB9/NB9W units. Could we order the NB9W from Exetel? I'm planning to replace my current NB5Plus4W with the NB9W so I can make VOIP calls from my current home phone but this modem doesn...

We have decided to offer the option of either paying for excess usage or having the bandwidth constrained after the included allowance has been reached for all current plans. This will apply to both peak and off peak plan inclusions and can be selected/deselected by each customer at any time - UP T...

Re: New ADSL1 And ADSL2Plans

I can't see how this proposal will add value as you have effectively increased the monthly rate by $5 and reduced my download by 48GBs! Would you consider a monthly rate of $60 ($30 for ADSL2 and $30 for line rental which includes $5 of included call credits). Download limits can be either 2GB Peak...

Re: New ADSL1 And ADSL2Plans

Maybe some ADSL2 plans that have lower peak data download limits at a cheaper price? My monthly rate has increase from $50 to $65 per month but I hardly even reach 2GB's of downloads so the increase of $15 for an extra 6GB is not good value for me. I sympathise with your situation. The hard realiti...
