Re: NBN is now activated, but ADSL status is still Active?

How long should PSTN > VoIP porting take? My ADSL2 Optus line has been active for a month since my NBN connection went live and I've not had any updates about my phone port... I've just received an NBN bill and an ADSL2 bill within a week, including my PSTN billing.

Re: ADSL2 pppoe issues for the last 1.5hrs?

... and now there’s a post about a ‘possible’ ADSL outage

I remember the good old days when you could see from the Exetel MRTG graphs when there was an outage as the throughout would drop drastically for your area and you weren’t forced to post and hope that someone might respond.

Re: 12hours+ - Ongoing vaguely defined ADSL outage

Thanks for the extra information and for restoring service. I worry that perhaps this could have been resolved sooner if the right people had been paged out at the start or had been monitoring the situation but I guess we have to leave the post incident work to you as well. That kind of detail about...

12hours+ - Ongoing vaguely defined ADSL outage

How about some updates on the outage described here - https://forum.exetel.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=296&t=43687 Some idea of the problem and what's happening would be nice. Is Exetel getting updates from Optus? Could they be shared with us or perhaps just an update each hour or couple of hours on prog...

Network maintenance running long?

I guess the maintenance was meant to have been completed at 6 but my ppp is still failing.

Is the work ongoing or does my Optus adsl2 connection have a problem?

Re: Multiple Sydney ADSL sites down

Same here. Since at least 1am. Lack of replies is a little worrying. Maybe the forum admins can't get online because their Exetel DSL is down. Be interesting to see the network graphs to see how much traffic is actually getting passed as an indicator of how many services are affected. Except Exetel ...

Dear Will

Please check the usage meter again and confirm to us as it looks like the issue is fixed.

Re: Please Use This Thread To Advise Exetel Of Typos/Errors

Hi, I'm just seeing some strange behaviour from the usage meter at this point - it's showing day 32 of the month of 31 days and my usage hasn't reset as I would have expected. Is it just the usage meter playing up or will this month just continue indefinitely? http://home.exetel.com.au/willm/usage-m...

Re: ADSL2+ Wallsend exchange again

Mine is usually around the 30ms mark but as of today it's still:

--- 220.233.0.9 ping statistics ---
46 packets transmitted, 46 received, 0% packet loss, time 44978ms
rtt min/avg/max/mdev = 56.769/58.192/61.291/1.119 ms

Re: ADSL2+ Wallsend exchange again

I'm still seeing the high latency right now - was your resolution only temporary yesterday JasonM or are things still looking good for you?
