Re: Incorrect IPCP Configuration
Been experiencing the same disconnects the past few days on the MAYF exchange aswell. Edit: Netcomm router. From my brief research the "Incorrect IPCP" error seems to be an exclusively Billion issue. I can't be certain, but suspect you might be getting drop outs for an unrelated reason (like genera...

Re: How to improve ping on ADSL2+ ?
Is there any chance of exetel offering the same trial on their telstra wholesale ports? if this infrastructure is in place id actually prefer to switch to the telstra ports than my current optus plan. Doubt it. That Fast path ADSL2+ is only on Internode infrastructure, not Telstra, Optus or Powerte...

Re: How to improve ping on ADSL2+ ?

Re: How to improve ping on ADSL2+ ?
So basically when i was on ADSL 8Mb connection, i would get around 70ms ping, but now after moving to ADSL2+ i get around 90ms. Now can anyone tell me why i would get a better ping when i was on my ADSL connection when compared with my current ADSL2 one? ADSL1 is provided via FAST path, ADSL2+ is I...

Re: ADSL2+ on Telstra Exchanges
I don't understand what you are asking. I think he is referring to changing from interleaved to non interleaved, apparently there is some sort of profile option to do this although originally only a 'Telstra thing' the benefit is meant to be lower pings but the offset is higher SNR which can mean d...

Re: ADSL2+ on Telstra Exchanges
nice plans. quick question though: recently internode have been trialling switching services to fast path (on request) on their telstra ports: http://forums.whirlpool.net.au/forum-replies.cfm?t=1454477 is there a chance we'll see the same functionality with exetel on the telstra network? im sure a f...
