free call option for ADSL change plan.

I can't seem to find a plan with free call option in the member facilities. Has this been discontinued?

Re: slow ADSL last two days in Canberra (Kambah exchange)

Hi, Exetel customer support want to get a technician to check the line at a charge to me of $220 if no fault is found. Given that Exetel has performed two line tests and not found a fault I don't think I will get much value out of this. Is it possible to check with your wholesaler to see if there ar...

Re: slow ADSL last two days in Canberra (Kambah exchange)

Last night the speed tests were varying between 2-7Mbps. This morning (8am)the speed was consistently back up to 10Mbps. I did some ping tests last night and there was 1% packet loss pinging the gateway. The same test this morning gave no packet loss. At this point I don't suspect the modem (it's co...

slow ADSL last two days in Canberra (Kambah exchange)

I have had slow download < 500kbps for last day and a half. Sync speed 13000 (confirmed by support engineer). Speed was also slow on Aug 22nd but got better again after a line test and reconnect everything. Exetel say try another modem (will get one tomorrow), but just checking if anyone else in thi...

Re: End of contract

There will be a plan change fee to to move from your current mobile plan to an M plan. Just to weigh in here, I find the plan fee changes to be punitively high for those whose contracts periods have expired. If I wanted to change my old exetel plans (all 12 months+ old) to the newer exetel plans it...

Re: Qriocity

eg. exetel already has 'free' access to social networking sites on their mobile plans. My suggestion is sort of a 'next step'. Sony music seem desperate enough that extetel might get a good deal! (well a bigger player might -- but exetel could be a 'pioneer').

Re: Qriocity

Hey ForumAdmin, Why not contact Sony Australia and offer a 'FREE QRIOCITY (sic)' plan and pay Sony $5/month per account or something? perhaps I'm missing what you have in mind but what would be the benefit to Exetel? its a long term thing. If the ISPs subsidise content generation, there will be mor...

are new capped plans 'fixed-term'?

Hi, I've been trying to work out if the new capped plans could have their terms varied at any point. eg. everyone signs up to the new plans to save money off their ADSL, then Exetel sends an email saying 'sorry costs are too high etc. etc. have to cancel the ADSL discount.'. I tried reading the term...

old mobile plans

Hi,
Do you have the rates for the old mobile plans (Vodafone) still available on your website somewhere. I want to do a comparison with the new ones.
Thanks,
Matt
