Re: Termination of service
Same thing happened here... 10+ years of loyal subscription, I also have the family and lots of clients connected. Just had a look at my usage stats for the last 6 months... barely cracking 150GB/mo on my 900GB/mo plan, so it's not making a lot of sense. Bills are all direct debit, so no payment iss...

ADSL dropout - Wollongong & Corrimal
Just had myself (Wollongong) and relative (Corrimal) both drop off the network. Routers are showing: Mar 9 21:11:35 pppd[409]: Connection terminated. Thanks for the quick reply... at least I know it's not at my end.
Connection appears to be back up now. Hopefully stable

Wollongong Outage - 8:53am
Experiencing a dropout of connection starting 8:53am (router does not observe DST timestamps). Looks like the connection was dropped and no server is currently available to process authentication requests. Any ideas? My system is in constant isolation. No use for land line phone here, so modem is di...

Re: Unacceptable speeds during peak periods.
This happens to me every week day... excellent speeds until ~4pm, then unbearably slow until midnight, where speeds to back to normal.
Feels like network congestion, as nothing else about the network at my end changes.

Re: Wollongong Exchange outage
About 30 minutes ago, we no longer have telephone nor DSL service.
I realise this is documented in the unplanned outage thread.
This will not be good for work tomorrow if it persists... any updates will be appreciated.

Wollongong Exchange outage
Wondering if anyone can shed any light on this?
My connection is dead as well as some clients on Telstra based ADSL2 connections.
Been out for maybe an hour at best guess.

Re: Slow ADSL2 (Wollongong)
As long as I'm not the only one... hopefully it will be better in the morning as you say.
Best I could get from the bandwidth test was 2.39 Mbps, which is basically on par with my previous test from mirror.exetel.com.au

Slow ADSL2 (Wollongong)
Is anyone experiencing slow speeds in Wollongong this evening? I've been getting around 600-100kb/sec most of the weekend, but from this afternoon I've only been able to get ~200kb/sec. I can literally see the exchange at the end of my street about 900 metres away, so I can't understand why I'd be g...

Slow ADSL2 (Wollongong)
I'm just wondering if there are any congestion issues at the Wollongong exchange? Best I've been able to get out of the connection recently is around 2Mbps: http://www.exetel.com.au/speed/dsl/results.php?kbps=1665.6&downloadtime=11.471&KB=2332.25&recorded=1 I'm around 900m from the exchange and sync...

Re: Connection drop outs
West Wollongong uses the Wollongong exchange which is the same one I'm having issues with. The modem can see the DSL hardware at the exchange (I'm getting sync and up/down speeds reported) but PPP won't connect.
This seemed to happen around 8:30pm-ish.

Re: Connection drop outs
I've had issues here all day too (WOL).
Got disconnected about 30 mins ago and can't get back on.
Anyone able to assist?
Modem is plugged directly into the wall. No phones or additional equipment on the line.

Re: Routing issues?
DNS entries are set manually on my ethernet adapter and not via DHCP/router, so I don't think it's that either. No Linux machines here to test with sorry, but cURL for Win seems to give a positive result (although Firefox isn't complying)... C:\Users\xxxxx\Desktop>curl -v www.google.com * About to c...
