Re: Incorrect call out fee even though technician cut wires?

Thank you for the response and for working out this arrangement. Please note that I received my most recent Invoice and the FFS is on the invoice.

Re: Incorrect call out fee even though technician cut wires?

Thank you for your response angelos. My concern is that my Notice of Termination was sent 1 day after the technician visited. Had the notice been sent 1 day prior, I would've cancelled the technician. I felt obligated to contact ACCC this morning and have lodged a complaint and sought advice. The tr...

Re: Incorrect call out fee even though technician cut wires?

The Incorrect Call Out Fee was explained to me with the assumption that I would still be an Exetel member after any work would be completed. By no action of my own, I am now not an Exetel member from July 11. Regardless of the FFS being explained to me, what happened was one day after the call out, ...

Re: Incorrect call out fee even though technician cut wires?

Hi ShaminG, I am one of the people who have been sent a Notice of termination of service letter, due to be disconnected on Jul 11. This seems to me that Exetel was aware of my "To be Terminated" status but still proceeded in sending a technician out. On 09/06/15 the technician visited, on 10/06/15 I...

Incorrect call out fee even though technician cut wires?

I have just been notified of a $220 incorrect call out fee. We have had some speed/connection issues and I had previously raised a ticket (most recent issue # 9090018). The issue was that the speed was halved (from 11000Kbps to 6000Kbps), it was slow, but still manageable. Exetel sent a technician t...

Re: Line Rate dropped by half, UNDERCLIFFE exchange

Hi Kavinda, thanks for the update. I've cycled the power ~10 times and now cannot get above ~6000Kbps.

Thank you for the reference number. I'll contact support.

Line Rate dropped by half, UNDERCLIFFE exchange

I typically connect with a Downstream line rate of ~11000 Kbps, but I had a disconnection over the weekend (whilst I was away) and now cannot connect higher than ~6500 Kbps. There's no other equipment, except my Billion 7800NXL modem connected. No telephone, no foxtel. I have reset the modem (discon...

Re: When to lodge Relocation Request?

What is the reasonable response time I should be expecting here? I have not received any response from either of you.

When to lodge Relocation Request?

I am moving house on the 22/03/14. If I lodge my Relocation Request now I have an Estimated Relocation of 21/03/14 (which I note is just an estimate). I would like to be connected at my current location for as long as possible before moving and of course be connected as soon as possible at my new lo...

Re: Billion 7800NXL are my settings correct

Thank you for the response. It took one month, three afternoons off work (absorbing my own annual leave time), plus $220 of my own money (paid to Exetel) plus ~$200 for a new modem, plus 3 x electrician call outs to get here. It's clearly not an acceptable customer experience that I had to jump thro...

Re: Billion 7800NXL are my settings correct

After the Telstra technicians left yesterday my connection has been pretty steady and the speed has been resumed. The technician's informed us that the issue was external to the apartment complex (between phone exchange at apartment complex MDF). Can I please receive an update on when I will be rece...

Re: Billion 7800NXL are my settings correct

Thanks KavindaS. The technician who turned up unannounced yesterday required access to the building. It was a coincidence that we were available to let him in. My concern is that if the technician could not gain access to the MDF yesterday, would we have been billed a fee as the technician was not a...
