Re: Voicemail fault
Hi, Firstly voicemail is working, however when hitting hash to exit, it says your authorisation failed, kinda funny failing the hangup :) the exetel helpdesk system lacks a voip section else i would have sent this in as a ticket, maybe the devs can add it in at some time to make life easier than lo...

Re: HSPA, no pre-paid plans
Righto :) Oh well. Only other tip is to use firefox with adblock plus flashblock noscript That'll probably cut down about as much unwanted usage as possible without killing the experience completely. I could use lynx if i wanted to browser reduce things :)If exetel dont permit current customers to ...

Re: HSPA, no pre-paid plans
Wouldn't the $5 a month plus usage plan be cheaper for you in that case? did the sums when I was considering hspa, and so long as I didnt need to use it yes, but given its works out to $10 a month for 666 megs, and your suggestion is about $5 a month more should I ever need it, nah... however with ...

Re: HSPA, no pre-paid plans
Oh I see what you mean :) In that case perhaps it's just because a prepaid service is generally not tied to any other services - they have their own usernames, etc. Again I could be wrong. There's no inherent advantage that I'm aware of for having a prepaid service related to your other services, o...

Re: HSPA, no pre-paid plans
yeah, but if im only a dsl customer, i should have the option to take on the pre-paid a/c, not just be limited to the post paid.Mike Agent N040 wrote:I think prepaid HSPA uses a different type of SIM card, could be wrong. (They usually have 3G Post Paid printed on them.)

Your current bandwidth reading is:
1.02 Mbps
which means you can download at 130.7 KB/sec. from our servers.

Re: Powertel Speed - enough is enough
Re Linux distros, rather than Powertel - I'm on an Optus ADSL2 connection, but early yesterday morning I needed a Karmic iso, so I joined the rush. Exetel's mirror using Opera was 4 KB/s. So I killed that and tried the Internode mirror, which was also dreadful. And so on, doing the rounds of the Ub...
