Re: ADSL2 Unlimited Plans (For Exetel Users Only)

It would probably make me stay with Exetel. I must admit after your changes to my plan this month I've been shopping around and have been very pleased with the offers from some of the other ISP's (TPG, iPrimus etc).... I was actually going to make a decision in the next few days. If you guys offered...

Re: Price Increase Of $5.00 per Month On All Old ADSL Plans

We went through this when you changed your 100 free voip plan at the start of the year. The plan change price went up and down like a yoyo, plans seem to change prices every other day on exetel. It's like playing the stock market. Long time member but I'm going to shop around for someone else. Sure ...

Re: Withdrawal Of Free Included Services On Older Plans

Exetel makes approximately $1.00 'profit each month from providing each service to our customers So I guess my $90 plan change fee should cover your profits for the next 90 months? Honestly Exetel, I've been a customer for close to 3 years and never had an issue with service, support, cost etc. I'm...

Vic - Incorrect Usage

Is there an issue with the usage meter at the moment? I have scheduler setup to start downloading at 2am and stop at 12pm. My OffPeak is WAY off this month. I've downloaded at least 17gb yet it says I've only downloaded 7.6gb My Peak is off too. It's saying I've downloaded 3gb in the last couple of ...

VOIP to Mobile Number question

A simple question.

VOIP to Mobile says 22 cents per minute.

Is that billed per second or per minute?

Thanks

Re: HSPA C3 with iPhone... Is it supposed to work?

Do the data only cards work in the iphone . You should be able to receive both calls and sms on the iphone using a C3 card. You should also be able to make calls using sip..... but not "sim" calls. Regards, Harry. Thanks for that info.. I'll have to look into it a bit more. could be perfect for wha...

Re: HSPA C3 with iPhone... Is it supposed to work?

Okay so a full restore of my iphone with that sim inserted and it is working. So either some weird setting got changed when I was playing or it wanted to be restored with that sim instead of my other sim. Thanks for your help shermanf. That leaves one other question though. Is it possible to move fr...

Re: HSPA C3 with iPhone... Is it supposed to work?

Thanks for the reply.

I tried that as well. In fact I just tried it again but no luck.

Any other ideas?

EDIT: And just tried it again in my PCMCIA card with just the APN and it worked fine.....

HSPA C3 with iPhone... Is it supposed to work?

I've got a C3 data only 3G plan from exetel that i'm trying to use on my iphone. I'm pretty sure I have it setup correctly but it will not connect. The card works fine in my PCMCIA modem on my laptop so I know the card works, just not in my iphone. am I missing something? I've set up the APN as exet...

I'm 100% sure my username/password is correct. Hi Strat In this case, 100% sure is simply not enough :D. Your password for your User Facilities is nothing like the default password you are using - you have obviously changed it from the default. If you can't remember what the correct password is, le...

Format should be https://www.exetel.com.au/members/usagemeter.php?{USERNAME},{PASSWORD} where {USERNAME} and {PASSWORD} are identical to what you login with for the Member facilities. Older accounts may utilise the default password "password" as opposed to your modem password of "0395555555AB" Than...

Plain text usage page (usagemeter.php). Can't log in.

I am having issues with the new Netusage app with it complaining that it has the wrong username/password. The utility has been changed to utilise the plain text usage page located at: https://www.exetel.com.au/members/usagemeter.php? But no matter what I try I get 'wrong username password'. I had a ...

Re: shouldn't i be syncing at a faster speed?

Your assumption is completely correct...ADSL2+ speeds are "UP TO" 24000kbps. Just on this. Are EXETEL ADSL2+ speeds up to 24000kbps? I was under the impression it was and i'm sure you used to advertise it as such but i've never been able to get such speeds (I'm within 300 metres of the exchange) Ye...

Strat, Your issue is the same as the one reported in this thread . You may want to keep an eye on both threads to see how they get resolved. At this stage it seems to me like a discrepancy between the AUP (48Gb) and the automated pooling system (40Gb). Worst case, you may have to wait until next mo...
