ADSL2 plans
I am at a loss as to why I have to pay so much for my plan (TReg - Bundle - 1TB) - $105.00+ per month plus whatever calls I make, so usually well over $120.00; when there's a plan for $109.00 that includes unlimited local and national calls. If I change to that plan, do I have to pay the activation ...

Change VoIP number
Is it possible to change my VoIP number? I deliberately got a QLD one while my kids were living in QLD, but now they're back in NSW, and the QLD number sometimes causes problems when I ring people. They think it's weird when I ring for an appointment or something and they see a QLD number. I'm getti...

Re: VoIP conked out
OK I changed those things and it still didn't work. My son came and fixed it however. I do have another question. My router is a TP-LINK, TD-VG3631 and I'm wondering if there's a way to change the dial tone for the VoIP phone? I tried changing the country to another country, which gave me a differen...

Re: VoIP conked out
Thanks, I have edited the original post.
I also tried changing the SIP proxy and outbound proxy to the same as the registrar address, but that made no difference.

VoIP conked out
Hi. My VoIP seems to have conked out. It has been working perfectly but not now. No changes have been made, or new equipment used. I rang Exetel and the fellow just said the problem was my router. Below are my settings, hope the images work. If anyone can shed any light on it, I would be most apprec...

Re: "Account suspended"
Thanks Dazzled. I had to make a CC payment to get back online, but it was processed very quickly. Now, it seems Exetel WERE able to get their payment after all and have now been paid twice. Somehow it's up to me to contact my bank and get this reversed.

"Account suspended"
I am pretty mad. On the 5th June I got an email saying Exetel had tried to take their automated payment and it was rejected by my bank. MY bank denies this and there was ALWAYS plenty of funds in that account. At NO point was that account in debit. And I have the screenshots to prove it. So I emaile...

Server dies at 5pm every day
This is really a first world problem, but it has me confused. The one and only game I play on my iPad , a silly thing called "Hay Day", disconnects every afternoon at exactly 5pm, and returns at exactly midnight. It shows a message box saying "server disconnected, check your internet connection". Go...

Re: No VoIP routers anymore?
So, what happened to VoIP routers? Why aren't there any out there? I looked at the Exetel hardware, and under VoIP modems, there is a power supply, several extra handsets, one that says it's a phone for fixed line and VoIP calls without a PC, and one requires some sort of base-station.

No VoIP routers anymore?
Hi, I am looking to buy a new router soon, as mine is on the way out, I think. I had a bit of a look around in the usual retail places like Harvey Norman and Dick Smith etc, and to my dismay, none of the available ones had VoIP capabilites. To make matters worse, no-one seemed to be able to tell me ...
