Drastically Low Speed
Recently my Exetel DSL2+ connection has been getting slower and slower.
It's down to 80kbits at the moment!
See here.
Anyone have any ideas what it may be? I've done the usual, resets and power cycle.

Re: Unsatisfactory customer service
The phone is working with the old number like a charm. I'm very pleased.
On the bright side, once the new plan has paid for the new mobile, I'll be back with Exetel.
Cheers,
Mike

Re: Unsatisfactory customer service
Thanks Steve,
The old phone popped back into life and I started the transfer online and it is now listed as received. As soon as it activates I'll post here and PM you as well, so the old service can be finalised.
Thanks again and cheers,
Mike

Re: Unsatisfactory customer service

In other words OT-10 costs $29.50 pm plus any once-off fee. G'day Dazzled, There were a number of places were detai...

Re: Phantom Calls
Don't bother talking to the operators as nothing will induce them to take your number off their list. Try speaking mock Chinese to them. Always start by answering the phone with "Whay?" Then yabber on with the fake Chinese. Works a treat for my sister in-law, she also does mock English re...

Re: Limited ADSL2 Access
Note that there was an outage. It was related to https://forum.exetel.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=296&t=38264 Hello Nuranj, I spotted that but it was in Tas not Vic. I was surprised that I could still access Exetel, websites as though I was blocked for spam, unpaid invoice, etc, even though my account w...

Limited ADSL2 Access
I have a CAP19 promo plan and can access Exetel websites with my ADSL2+ part of the plan but, apparently, no others. Just checked the forum and there doesn't appear to be any problems affecting Dandenong, Victoria. It's not the end of the period so my credit is still good. So does anyone know...
