Re: Exetel ADSL 1 plans

So a $85/mo plan will now be $88/mo regardless of whether I pay with CC or Debit?
If so, I'd rather just pay with CC!

Re: Slow speeds

Slight improvement on my end, nothing to jump up and down about though for someone synching at 6Mbps:

Your current bandwidth reading is:

1.82 Mbps

which means you can download at 232.49 KB/sec. from our servers.

Changing to Slower Plan - Contract Obligations?

If I am out of contract now and I decide to move from 8Mbps to 1.5Mbps, will it start a new 6 month contract?

<bump> Any idea when the current Free Churn offer ends? Looking to sign up a work mate who is almost at the end of his Telstra 256/64 (shudders) contract. A shame neither of us can get ADSL2+ ... all this talk of Naked DSL was getting me wet  Hell, take a look at the following news item: http:/...

Outside of home+work, I don't need net access, so not applicable here.

I could see value if I could use it on the train ride home, but I don't think this idea applies to contantly moving situations like that?
