Re: Exetel plan suggestions

Thanks Exetel for making the changes to the 8192 plans, we not only a reduction of $5 per month but also a more than fair increase to the monthly downloads, greatly appreciated, thanks again, this has put the icing on the cake! :D

Re: Exetel plan suggestions

I noticed you moved quickly and posted a couple of new plans yesterday. (As I posted on Whirlpool) Not bad but I would have thought the 60GB one might have been closer to the 1.5 72GB point..I wonder if thats a miss print..it looks too obviously out of step. The 1.5mbit plans go up in niceish 18GB ...

Re: Possible New ADSL2 Plans For New Financial Year

- "expensive" ADSL1 by comparison with ADSL2 "value", is most significantly the result of less Telstra hands in the pocket for connections when they are less involved, ala ADSL2 with much less Telstra involvement in the whole scheme of things; - until recently, Telstra has not allowed the ADSL2 cap...

Re: Free/discounted Exetel Voip - Exetel Voip.

Thats good to hear that Exetel to exetel voip is free, its not written anywhere that I could see anyway in the user facilities about the cost for voip calls between exetel - exetel voip numbers and I am also wondering if its the same for exetel voip to non exetel voip numbers, possibly this can be c...

Re: Free/discounted Exetel Voip - Exetel Voip.

The cost of VoIP calls is very rel (not a few CPU cycles). We could consider additional bundles but the cost of the VoIP calls would be included in the plan cost (as it is with the Naked ADSL plans. You can try VoIP using the 'equipmentless VoIP option in the User Facilities. mind if I ask what cos...

8192kbps Plans

Hi, noticed that some of the higher ADSL2 plans and a few of adsl1500< plans received some more peak quota, which is fantastic for those users, and cause my exchange is not upgraded to ADSL2 (no thanks to Tel$tra and Optu$) I cannot get the benefits of ADSL2 or Naked ADSL2, so I am wondering is ther...

what i cant understand is if u are on 48 gig on and 48 gig off what is the use of offpeak why not just have 96 gig all up ? because off peak doesnt mean anything now If Exetel take your view with the 48gb off peak removed they could set a pro rata system - ie 8GB/8GB, 12GB/12GB etc etc, not good fo...

Re: Starwarsgalaxies.station.sony.com

I think you'll find that your excessive downloads in the previous two months are now affecting your service. How can you say that this is the case, your statement is not supported according to your comment made in another thread http://forum.exetel.com.au/viewtopic.php?t=23386 I am asking you kindl...

Re: Starwarsgalaxies.station.sony.com

Ok I accept that I exceeded the 40GB off peak period, however, I am confused as to where this 2mths excess comes into play. In the A.U.P at 9.1 and 9.2 it states "In the event that any Customer, downloads more than their allocated uncounted downloaded GB during the Off Peak Period in any calendar mo...

Starwarsgalaxies.station.sony.com

I am wondering if Netforcer is blocking the Starwarsgalaxies.station.sony.com address, during off peak times it is unusable, I am not pooled and would like exetel to investigate. During peak the connection is as expected, fast as, but as soon as you drop into the off peak time its a no goer, why wou...

Free period download limits

Users on a 12GB plan users pay $50pm where they get 40GB Off peak when a person paying $105PM gets the same off peak limit of 40GB. I think that Exetel should review the off peak limits for customers paying $105, maybe there should be a pro rata amount according to what account you are on, similar t...
