Newly connected NBN service, no member's facility

Hey guys, My old man just god his NBN service hooked up yesturday. We used his still current ADSL user/pass to connect, just wondering if this is correct? Actually as of 15 minutes ago it went down, but I'll wait to see what happens there. His member's facility still only shows the ADSL service with...

Re: Latency increase across the board

I have actually come across a real issue which seems to co-incide with this ping increase. I completely forgot I had this issue with vent because for some weeks now we've had good pings and the problem hasn't been around. However, i was in ventrilo tonight and what happends (no matter what settings ...

Re: Latency increase across the board

Yep, was on 26 for about 2 weeks and now back to 42, obviously it is intermittent and Optus have no idea how to stabilise it. back to 30 some time this morning... Hope i...

Re: Dropouts and extremely slow sync

Ive had this issue resolved, but ever since Exetel changed my ADSL profile i am always connecting at exactly 11999kbps (13.5dB margin atm)... can't get it to connect at the usual 13500-14000kbps... whats the go with that?

Re: Dropouts and extremely slow sync

I called support and got the issue escalated pretty much straight away.. Now onto optus to fix the problem... Can i just say... I rang twice today, and both times i was onto a support rep instantly. First time i have EVER called a support line of a company and not had to hold for 30minutes. Top stuff.

Dropouts and extremely slow sync

Trying not to be another annoying helpdesk relient whinger. But. What does it take to get a reply from helpdesk? I have a ticket, and i did most of the trouble shooting i could do before loging it, such as; - I'm on naked dsl, the line is isolated with not other services or filters besides the modem...

Powertel not available on WOLFE anymore?

Hi, I was on a powertel plan with exetel about 2 years ago... I moved to Naked to take advantage of the decreased cost plus my not useing a landline anymore. Optus has given me a few issues since then (as well documented in the latency thread) and latest is what i assume a port issue (still got a ti...

Re: Latency increase across the board

Back to crap at wolfe. EDIT: i might add, doesn't look like congestion, ping is stable as hell. It was also stable as hell when it was 29-30... Don't know why they need to do this. Also, my connection didn't go down when this happened.. Actually, when it went from 55 back to 30 i was in Quake Live a...
