Re: ADSL2+ Connection Problem

By looking at your modem test screenshot above, it sounds like your line did not have an ADSL signal on it to successfully make a connection. It could just be that your line is still being provisioned and needs a little longer to be completely setup. Sometimes you will receive the credential and set...

Re: Can't change modem connection password

I've opened a support ticket just now, what kind of time can I expect for a response? Will I be waiting until some time tomorrow (Is support closed now)? I'm trying to set up a new modem/router and forgot my existing ADSL connection password (My old router still connects without issue so there is n...

Re: Can't change modem connection password

From what I can remember seeing on the forum recently, you can no longer find/adjust the modem password yourself anymore, you need to contact Technical Support by phone or email.

Re: XML Usage Meter/Data

It appears to be providing correct data to my Firefox usage meter now, can anyone confirm by other means? Which Firefox usage meter? My 'net usage item' firefox plugin still isnt reading the correct data. I am also using Net Usage Item v1.2.375.1 for Firefox. The data is updating without issue (as ...

Re: Monthly Bill Notice

Mac Mail and iPhone have both been showing messy HTML code for any Exetel correspondence I have received recently, whether it be invoice notifications or other messages. I can understand Exetel's push to change their marketing templates to match current design, but plain text is a lot better than se...

I've since had another email of the same nature, for our current service number, dated last year.

Provisioning email received from 2005 order?

Good evening, About an hour ago, both of the contact email addresses on our account received a provisioning rejection notice for an order which was placed back in 2005 on our original service number. We have moved premises three times since then, and do not have anything to do with that service numb...

Ongoing ADSL issues

Evening all, We live quite a fair distance from the exchange and have always had average line speeds for our location. Speedtest.net (using Telstra Brisbane) normally shows around 3Mbps down and 0.7Mbps up. Exetel Speed Test shows around 2.8Mbps. We're connected to ADSL2+ (I believe). ADSL Modem Sta...

Re: New website glitches

Why must the Members Facility be so slow to use? When clicking on any link or simply logging in, it takes more than a minute to load the page. I'm all for a redesigned members facilities, but why must you remove key things - I can't even find out my Fax Over IP details anywhere?! It used to be withi...

Re: ADSL2+ migration to new Optus plan

As udara has mentioned, could you connect a phone by itself to the wall socket, and test to see if there is any noticeable noise on the line when you pick up? Ultimately when I had these similar issues, it was water found in the comms pit on the street, which required an escalation of a fault throug...

Re: Exetel Provisioning

Ok. My new service has moved to pending. We move tomorrow. I'd like to close our old ADSL down. Who do I contact to move my 2 VOIP lines, my emails and my pioneer discount from my old ADSL2 account to my new ADSL2 account. I can PM someone service numbers. Mike I've had this done before and it's as...

Cannot send WAP SMS

I have been trying to send a WAP SMS (push URL message) from the user facilities this morning at different intervals with different URLs and they have ALL failed to send.

Is there currently an issue of present? I sent one a few months ago and it appeared to work perfectly.

Thanks.
