Re: Rationale Behind Change Of Plan 'Direction'

well you seem to realise that exetel change plans as times change. Of course if exetel can't sustain the current users on current plans. (if older plans are costing exetel more than newer plans), then prices will go up for these plans as we have seen for other grandfathered plans. I suspect it will...

Re: Rationale Behind Change Of Plan 'Direction'

The current plans in use by all customers will remain for the current users - they just won't be offered to new users. No sarcasm intended whatsoever...but for how long this time? Or has the business plan changed to truly 'grandfather' existing plans and concentrate on new customers (i.e. there wil...

Webmail link to home page

Is it possible for the webmail page to have a link back to Exetel's site when logged out rather than just the "you have successfully signed out" page?

Re: Price Increase Of $5.00 per Month On All Old ADSL Plans

Perhaps JL should be spending more time concentrating on his customers genuine concerns than rambling in his blog  No offense intended whatsoever but I am contributing to his personal income each month! After 11 pages of this thread & 7 odd in the other, it is still confusing as to what is goi...

Re: Possible Change To Off Peak Period

A big plus of Extel's is actually having a 12 hour off peak period. 2am - 2pm works well for me :D
Without wading through 34 pages of comments to see if it has been suggested, wouldn't it be easier to have a yes/no poll for the change?

Re: 100 Free VoIP Call Allowance

Thanks peterh_oz :) It's great to get a clear answer to such a noob question!
Got a Billion 7401VPGM so should (fingers crossed) be ok.

The 'free' part is great - however is there any need for a minimum spend on the VoIP 'free' plan?

Edit: To obtain the 100 free calls :D

Re: 100 Free VoIP Call Allowance

Question from a complete VoIP novice :? that's thinking of switching to a newer plan because of the 100 free calls. Do you need a VoIP plan from Exetel to take advantage of the 100 free calls? Or is just part of the adsl plan, & if so how, how can you differentiate between an outgoing VoIP call & a ...

Re: Revisions To ADSL1 Plans

I'm aware of that and that's why all the plans in the members facilities are "PT" plans, u can't change to a "TL" plan. Changing plans does sound like the way to go... if the members facilities would let you do it. No problems here - members facilities/ADSL/Change my service - ADSL1 plans are at th...

Re: Revisions To ADSL1 Plans

The only plans that show up on the change service page are ADSL2 plans not ADSL1. So there seems to be no facilities to swap to another ADSL1 plan. I am on TELJ also, and thought that the 60GB and VoIP calls did apply to all plans, but after seeing no change in the user facilities and now reading t...

Re: Increase In Off Peak Allowance On Relevant ADSL Plans

Changing from an 'old plan' to a 'current plan' (say TL-BA) means forgoing 8gb in peak but gaining 6gb in off-peak, along with all the other benefits/savings of the new plan. Are there any thoughts in the near future  of further increasing the peak quota on the 'current plans' as was the case ...

Re: Revisions To ADSL1 Plans

So if I was to now change from TEL-J to TL-BA, is this right: it's $5 cheaper per month, no admin fee, higher off peak downloads and includes the 100 free VoIP calls? Sounds like a no-brainer - except when I go to change, the off peak limits are still at 54gb. (The 'change plans' page doesn't show t...

The mega Australian ISP only cache co-sanctioned by Government, implemented by G9, with no data content monitoring and 10MB infrastructure - you should be in politics ForumAdmin !
