Re: APN for Exetel mobile services using the Optus network

Thanks guys - I did already know about the unlock site (Apple also have some software which you can add another profile also). I just thought it'd be easier to contact Exetel for confirmation that I'm using YesINTERNET instead of having to install anything on my phone? Surely they could tell me? You...

Re: APN for Exetel mobile services using the Optus network

I'm struggling a bit here... I have an iPhone 3GS and have signed up on the CAP-SPECIAL 2 plan just over a month ago (ADSL2, phone and mobile). My iPhone is unlocked. Have emailed Exetel asking what my APN settings are (since they should be YesINTERNET) and none of the staff can tell me if this is t...

Facebook, eBay etc on iPhone.

Hi there, I have just signed up with an exetel mobile service and I am wondering, if you use the Facebook, eBay etc apps on your iPhone, is this included in the 'unlimited data to Facebook, eBay, FourSquare, MySpace' etc? Or do you have to manually access the sites through Safari for them to be incl...

Also syncing at 1500kb/sec :(

Hi, I saw the thread on: http://forum.exetel.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=226&t=27243 and I was wondering if someone could help me out too - I have ADSL2+ on the IncPhone A plan on the Optus network. For some reason (I think it's been for a LONG time) my ADSL is syncing at only 1,500kb/s! The other night ...

Slow speeds at night/HTTPS also extremely slow on ADSL 2+

Hi guys, Before I start, yes, I know it's another "slow ADSL 2+" thread. Does anyone have the same problems as me - ie. If downloading torrents etc that your speed is heavily slowed down after midnight? During the day after 12pm it magicly goes a lot faster - but come night time it's a dog :( When I...

OK, well to top off this 'lovely' 2 weeks I've been experiencing - the ADSL 2 page just magically turns up out of the blue again, so I signed up last night. Then I receive an email this morning saying that BUNDLE ADSL2+ AND TRANSFER TELEPHONE SERVICE ARE NOT AVAILABLE - NO PORT AVAILABLE Well that's...

Still, just unfortunate that I had NO clue whatsoever as to this happening - would be good to be informed sometimes :?

I just want to get this problem sorted since there will be new tenants moving into my current house on Sunday, and I don't exactly want them to be using my landline!

Come to the conclusion that the page must not be working on Exetel's end, as I get teh same message on that page from both work and home! As stated, I have gone through the cancellation form yesterday (and have an email to prove this), but there is no moving form whatsoever!

Thanks again :)

Moving house - ADSL2+ Optus - what a crock!

Hi there, Yesterday I just cancelled my Exetel ADSL2+ service (with telephone through the Optus network) on the Exetel website, and then rang up Telstra who gave me a new phone number for the new house (they said it was a lot quicker to do it this way than wait for a port back to them from my existi...

Relocation of my ADSL 2+ Service in the same town.

Hi there, I am currently thinking of moving (within the same town) and I currently am on ADSL 2+ and telephone with Exetel (through the Optus network) and I would like to know the following: A) What do I have to do? Who do I need to contact? Do I just go to the Relocate my ADSL page in the members s...
