Re: The Exetel 6-year club

I've been here since May 2004, but I have to say that the recent constant changes to ADSL1 plans have shaken my faith. I've had to change plans 3 times in as many months to stay ahead, incurring a $10 fee each time (to save $5 as it turns out). Not my idea of rewarding customer loyalty.

Re: exeSMS not saving settings and throwing error

As I understand it, the first version of eXeSMS although made available by Exetel, was not developed by them, so supporting it is not their responsibility - see this post.

Re: exeSMS not saving settings and throwing error

OK, I seem to have fixed my problem. I had originally installed to C:\Program Files instead of the default C:\Exetel. I noticed from reading the development thread that there is supposed to be an 'Exetel_sms_db' folder, which I didn't have. Thinking that maybe it was a permissions issue with writing...

Re: exeSMS not saving settings and throwing error

Hi, I had the issue described by the OP (and others in this and other threads). There's an explanation here
I uninstalled v1.5 and installed v2.1
On opening it crashes with "Database connection opening error"
Any thoughts?

Re: The Exetel 5-year club

5 years this month. While other telcos mislead and gouge customers ( http://apcmag.com/the-dodgy-fine-print-in-optus-new-monster-caps.htm ), Exetel bend over backwards to add features and benefits, while at the same time effectively reducing charges. Incredibly, they have a policy of not only inform...

When Exetel discontinued my T4U plan in June I switched to the X07 1500/256 plan. I have just discovered that it has been changed to TELI. OK, same price, increased d/l quota - BUT... I never received any notification and can find no reference to this change on the website or forum. My contact email...
